摘要： Several embodiments provide wireless extensions to an irrigation controller system and related methods of use, as well as other improvements to irrigation control equipment. In one implementation, an irrigation control system includes a transmitter unit including a controller and having a connector to be coupled to an irrigation controller having station actuation output connectors. The controller is configured to receive an indication that the irrigation controller has activated an irrigation station, and is also configured to cause the transmitter unit to transmit a wireless activation signal responsive to the indication. A receiver unit is coupled to an actuator coupled to an actuatable device, such as an irrigation valve, the actuator configured to actuate the irrigation valve to control the flow of water therethrough. The receiver unit receives the wireless activation signal and in response, causes the actuator to actuate the actuatable device.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for using magnetically coupled antennas to enhance receptivity and/or reading range of radio frequency (RF) transaction devices. In some implementations, a method for boosting RF signals includes wirelessly receiving an RF signal from a transaction terminal at a passive antenna. The passive antenna is magnetically coupled to the antenna of a transaction card. The transaction card is inserted in a mobile host device and configured to execute a payment application using user credentials in response to at least a transaction request and transmits at least one transaction response to the transaction terminal based, at least in part, on the executed transaction application and using the antenna either standalone or through the coupled antenna configuration. The RF signal is transmitted to the transaction card using the inductive coupling with the terminal.

In some implementations, a system includes a first interface, a second interface, secure memory, a user-interface module, a processing module, and am amplification module. The first interface connects to a microSD slot of a mobile host device. The second interface includes an internal antenna for wirelessly communicating with retail terminals. The secure memory stores user credentials and a payment application used to execute financial transactions with the retail terminals. The processing module executes the payment application using the user credentials in response to at least a transaction request received by the RF module and transmits at least one transaction response to the retail terminal based, at least in part, on the executed payment application. The amplification module connected to a lead of the antenna and is configured to amplify at least received RF signals.
