摘要： A four position racking mechanism for a circuit breaker in a cubicle or housing providing Connected, Test, Disconnect and Out positions. The racking lead screw is mounted in the circuit breaker structure in its own support. The rear end of the racking screw is threaded to engage and move a travelling nut which rides in guide slots. The outer ends of the travelling nut engage a pair of connecting links which rotate a pivoted roller bracket. The roller bracket carries a racking roller which engages a cam slot in a member extending from the rear portion of the cubicle or housing. The shape of the cam slot plus the increasing lever arm of the connecting links around the pivot pin on the nut provide a variable racking force which is needed for primary disconnect contact engagement. The central positioning of the racking mechanism makes it suitable for any width of circuit breaker. The racking mechanism is interlocked with the closing mechanism; releasable locking means and interlock means are provided to limit the operation of the racking mechanism to conditions which are safe for the operator; thus, the unlocking of the racking mechanism after the breaker is tripped will hold the trip mechanism and hold it trip free as long as the racking mechanism is unlocked. An indexing element for the slide for the locking mechanism is provided for all the positions of the circuit breaker.

The secondary disconnect assembly includes a terminal block assembly comprising a mounting member, at least one terminal block removably mounted on the mounting member, and at least one accessory plug structured to be removably inserted into the terminal block to be electrically connected to the terminal block. The terminal block and the accessory plug each include a plurality of error-proofing features. The error-proofing features prohibit insertion of the accessory plug into the terminal block unless the accessory plug is correctly disposed in a predetermined orientation.

摘要： A position switch and a circuit breaker having a position switch are provided. Contact plates, each having an elastically variable height, may be provided between switch blocks and switch levers. A testing contact plate and a running contact plate may compensate for inferior dimensioning of the switch blocks and the switch levers. Such a configuration may allow a position of a breaker body to be quickly and accurately displayed and, further, may prevent damage of the position switch provided at the breaker body. Furthermore, such a configuration may prevent any connection inferiority between a terminal of the breaker body and a terminal of a cradle.

The racking assembly movably couples the circuit breaker to a switchgear enclosure. The secondary disconnect assembly includes a mounting assembly having an elongated mounting member. The elongated mounting member has first and second opposing ends and first and second opposing sides. A sliding assembly is movably coupled to the first side between the first and second ends. A latching member is pivotably coupled to the sliding assembly. The latching member moves between an unlatched position corresponding to the circuit breaker being movable independently with respect to the sliding assembly, and a latched position corresponding to the latching member fixedly coupling the sliding assembly to the circuit breaker in order that the circuit breaker moves with the sliding assembly. The racking assembly may also include a position indicator.
