摘要： Captured images obtained beforehand by imaging ranges corresponding to peripheries of a vehicle, or processed images generated to correspond to the captured images are stored to be associated with stored road information of a preset area. A superimposed area having a clarity lower than a preset clarity threshold is set in a captured image of a periphery of the vehicle. A superimposition image is extracted among the stored images, the superimposition image being an image of a range corresponding to the captured image. A superimposed image is generated by superimposing an image in an area in the extracted superimposition image corresponding to the superimposed area on the captured mage. A video generated from the superimposed image is displayed at a position visible from a driver.

The one or more perception sensors are configured to generate perception data about a region near a vehicle. The estimator component is configured to determine an estimated speed limit based on the environmental attributes. The notification component is configured to provide the estimated speed limit to an automated driving system or driver assistance system of the vehicle.

This determination may be made based on various indicia, including visible indicia displayed by the detected vehicle and traffic control factors relating to the detected vehicle. For example, the autonomous vehicle may identify a detected vehicle as being in a long-term stationary state based on detection of hazard lights being displayed by the detected vehicle, as well as the absence of brake lights being displayed by the detected vehicle. The autonomous vehicle may then base its control strategy on the stationary state of the detected vehicle.

The autonomous vehicle may then base its control strategy on whether or not a vehicle has been identified as parked or not.

A user's client device such as a smart-phone, smart watch, or tablet computer, may provide visual, audible, and/or haptic alerts to the user when the user exceeds a posted speed limit by more than a threshold amount. For example, when the user exceeds the posted speed limit by more than the threshold amount, the user's smart-phone may play a beeping sound and may announce the posted speed limit to the user. Moreover, the user's smart-phone may display an indication of the posted speed limit and a graphic notifying the user the she has exceeded the posted speed limit by more than the threshold amount. A map of a geographic area including the user's travelled route may also be displayed, with annotated areas along the route where the user exceeded the posted speed limit by more than the threshold amount.
