摘要： A system for achieving perspective-corrected views at a location removed from the site of the creation of a distorted wide angle image without the transmission of control signals to the site of image creation. Angles of tilt, pan and rotation, as well as degrees of magnification, are achieved without the use of mechanical devices by using transform algorithms. The system provides for the transmission of signals related to an uncorrected image from a site where this distorted image is created, with the transmitted signals being received at one or more processing sites for creating the perspectively-corrected views. Transmission can be via telephone lines, with the system including signal compression and decompression units. Wireless transmission is also utilized where desired.

摘要： A method for capturing and directly scanning a rectilinear imaging element using a non-linear scan is incorporated into a single chip comprising at least a sensor array and an MSD. The method directly addresses each picture element of an analog image captured with an imaging device having either a partial spherical field of view or a conventional two-dimensional field of view. An image transform processor is used to process the captured image depending upon the particular portion of interest of the image. In the case of a non-linear scan, the image transform processor is provided with the capability of geometrically filtering the portion of interest of the captured image such that a two-dimensional, undistorted image is displayed at the monitor. A CMOS active pixel image sensor (APS) or Charge Injection Diode (CID) camera array are used to capture the image to be scanned. The image transform processor of the present invention is a Mixed-signal Semiconductor Device (MSD). The image transform processor corrects any predetermined distortion introduced by the image sensor array.

摘要： The present invention discloses a security system for monitoring a mobile, ground-based platform via image acquisition in the form of electrical pixel signals. In one embodiment, the system includes a plurality of cameras attached to the platform and arranged to capture images of zones associated with the interior of the platform or with its exterior and current ambient environmental surroundings. Storage media is located on the platform for storing images captured in the form of electrical signals by the cameras. The system is configured for transferring images to the storage media and to at least one remote location wherein the images are viewable at the remote location. The system may advantageously employ wireless transmission to transfer images to a remote location. The images may be captured responsive to an input such as from a panic button. The system may also employ removable storage media for storing images on the platform. Upon removal, the removable storage media may be transported to the remote location. The images stored in the removable storage media may then be randomly accessed and viewed at the remote location.

摘要： A security protection system comprises sensors to detect an alarm condition and a controller that controls the operation of a still-video and audio recording unit. When the sensors activate the controller, the controller turns on appropriate lights and activates the recording unit, and the visual and audio signals from the recording unit are converted to digital and stored on a magnetic disk. The converted signals are also transmitted through a modem to a base location for contemporaneous monitoring of the events which triggered the sensor. The controller can also be activated manually, and may be reset in case of a false alarm. The base location is able to activate the controller for verification or retransmission of the signals.

摘要： A method for automatically authenticating unknown video data based on known video data stored at a client server is provided, wherein, unknown and known video data each are made up of segments and include metadata, a hash message digest, and a serial code. The method involves selecting a first segment of the unknown video and locating the serial code within the first segment of the unknown video data. The serial code is used to locate a corresponding first segment in the known video data. The first segment may include a known hash message digest. A new hash message digest for the first segment of the unknown video data is generated and compared with the known hash message digest. If they match, the segment of unknown video data is authentic.
