摘要： A gaming system comprises a gaming platform, such as a mobile platform, on which a player can play a game, a communication network for providing communication between the gaming platform and a game server, and a prize supplier database for providing prize supplier location information. When a game prize signal is generated, the game server communicates location information about an appropriate prize supplier for receipt by the player. The game server selects the appropriate prize supplier from the prize supplier database, this selection being effected, for example, on the basis of closeness to the location of the gaming platform. A corresponding gaming server apparatus and game-prize information method are also provided.

摘要： A device for dispensing awards includes a housing having a set of compartments, the contents of which are visible from the outside. Each compartment contains a small but valuable award, such as a diamond. The housing is part of, or connected to, a gaming machine. When a player wins a game which entitles the player to select a tangible award, the device signals this fact to the player. The player then selects a compartment by pressing a input device located on the housing. An attendant opens an external door, and inserts an electronic key into a receptacle associated with the selected compartment, and enters a required code into the key. The compartment then opens, and the player obtains the award. The device provides enhanced security, because the compartment will not open unless the player has won the required game and has pressed the input device, and the attendant has properly opened the external door and has entered the correct code with the electronic key. The device also includes an inventory control system which preferably uses an RFID apparatus for monitoring the contents of each compartment, and for keeping records of an inventory of awards.

When the article being raffled reaches 100% raffle price threshold, the raffle closes and the ticket numbers are submitted to a secure electronic ticket number selector 23, which randomly chooses a winning ticket number.

摘要： An article-retrieving machine comprises a machine body having a slide guide mounted therein at a level higher than the articles in the machine body to be retrieved. When article is caught and falls onto the slide guide, the article slides downward to a rest portion. The machine includes a first module for receiving and handling plastic containers, a second module for receiving and handling glass containers and a third module for receiving and handling metal containers. Each of the three modules is contained in the same housing or storage unit. Preferably, the machine includes one or more coupon dispensers for dispensing redeemable coupons and the machine is conveniently located near a store or other outlet at which the coupons can be redeemed. Each of the three modules is separately accessed but their operations are, preferably, under the common control of a single processor unit. The housing also contains a separate coin dispensing unit for each of the three modules and in one embodiment, both coins and a coupon are dispensed upon receipt of an acceptable container in the appropriate module.
