    • A mounting assembly which, in one embodiment, is for a pedal assembly including a plate with at least a first mounting bracket including an interior wall which, in one embodiment, defines an aperture and a pair of slots. A sleeve is fitted in the opening and, in one embodiment, is generally U-shaped and includes both an arcuate base and a pair of arms. The base is fitted in the aperture and at least the distal end of the pair of arms is fitted in the pair of slots respectively. The interior wall is configured so that, in one embodiment, a generally circular aperture is defined in the bracket when the sleeve is fitted therein; and, in another embodiment, a generally oval-shaped aperture is defined in the bracket when the sleeve is fitted therein.

    • Disclosed are several clamps and a method for installing the clamps through at least two work pieces from one side. The clamps include a shank, a spacer, a core bolt and an expander. The shank and expander are keyed to together with the expander engaged on the core bolt such that rotation of the core bolt can bulb the expander to form a clamp surface on the blind side of the work pieces. The shank and spacer are temporarily held apart until the expander is bulbed wherein the shank is allowed to enter the spacer to clamp the work pieces. Subsequent over torque of the core bolts fractures a weakened portion of the core bolt permitting removal of the clamps when desired.

    • A tuning pin assembly for mounting a first structural component to a second structural component. A locating pin is fixed to the first component and has a shaft with an outer surface that is concentric about a pin axis. An eccentric cap has a radially inner pin engagement surface that is mounted on the outer surface and is concentric about the pin axis, a radially outer alignment surface that is eccentric about the pin axis and slides into an alignment hole in the second component to align the second component relative to the first component. A first rotation resistance feature is located on at least one of the outer surface of the locating pin and the pin engagement surface of the eccentric cap engaging between the outer surface and the pin engagement surface to resist torque applied to the eccentric cap to rotate the cap.

    • Disclosed is a clamp that includes a bolt, a spacer, a shank, an expander and a blocking means. The bolt includes a non-threaded undercut that permits the bolt to rotate in an internally threaded portion of the spacer without threaded engagement between the bolt and the spacer. When used as a clamp, the spacer, shank, expander and blocking means cooperate to deform the expander into a blind side flange and to clamp a work piece between the flange and the spacer. To remove the clamp, the bolt is moved away from the spacer while rotating the bolt in the expander to bring the external threads of the expander into threaded engagement with the internal threads of the spacer. This permits the extraction of the bolt from the blind side expander by maintaining rotational restraint of the expander with the spacer. In several embodiments, a compression spring is positioned between the head of the bolt and the spacer to automatically move the bolt when it is rotated in a loosening direction.

    • A connector pin assembly is insertable into aligned openings in telescoped ground engaging wear and support members to releasably hold the wear member on the support member. The assembly has a tubular outer housing that is nonrotatably received in the openings. A connector pin longitudinally extends through the housing and is rotatable relative thereto among selectively variable rotational orientations in which the pin is releasably locked to the housing by cooperative detent structures carried by the housing and the pin. Outer end portions of the pin perform two functions which are controlled by rotating the pin relative to the housing. First, outer pin member end portions are rotatable to selectively hold the wear member on the support member or release it therefrom. Second, the outer pin end portions are rotatable to adjustably tighten the wear member onto the support member.

    • A tubule assembly for thermally isolating a surface-mounted wall anchor and an anchoring system employing the same are disclosed. The thermally-isolated tubule assembly is adaptable to varied anchor structures and for use with interlocking veneer ties and reinforcement wires to provide a high-strength surface mounted anchoring system for cavity walls. The stepped cylinders sheath the mounting hardware to limit insulation tearing and resultant loss of insulation integrity. The tubule assembly is thermally-isolated through the use of a series of strategically placed compressible nonconductive fittings and set within the perimeter of the anchor base. Seals are formed which preclude penetration of air, moisture, and water vapor into the wall structure.
