摘要： A head-of-wall joint for insulating the intersection between a wall assembly and the bottom of a floor or roof construction thereabove which utilizes an insulating gasket of a unique shape and construction positioned between the ceiling track and the point of intersection thereof with respect to the upper building floor or roof structure. The configuration of the insulating gasket member includes a main section and two side sections which extend over the outwardly facing surfaces of a conventionally configured ceiling track or runner without being attached to the ceiling track side panel side surfaces. The gasket can included tabs to attach to the lowermost edges of the track side sections. The gasket can be made from acoustically insulating materials or firestopping materials, or both.

摘要： The present invention relates to an assembly wall having improved sound absorption/insulation performance and an assembly structure thereof. The assembly wall includes plate members separated from each other to face each other and each forming at least one layer; stud members alternately placed on different inner surfaces of the plate members and comprising a web formed with a plurality of first perforated holes having at least one diameter; an insulation member interposed in a space defined between the plate members and the stud members; and a sheet member adjoining an outer surface of the insulation member and being formed with a plurality of second perforated holes having at least one diameter. With this structure, the assembly wall has excellent sound absorption and insulation performance over various frequency bands including a low frequency band without increasing wall thickness.

The fastening means of the outer rail may thus include one, two or more stop pins, and one or more resilient lock pins.Hereby may be achieved provision of a tool-free assembly method for the sectional rail system and that by screwing on plate covering close to the edge part of the intermediate rail, it is avoided that the screw web and the associated reinforcement web “capsize”.

The fire-block device can be a wall component that includes a fire-resistant material strip that expands in response to sufficient heat to create a fire-resistant barrier. In some applications, the fire-block wall component is positioned to extend lengthwise along and across a gap between wallboard members. The fire-block wall component may have a U-shaped central portion and a pair of side portions extending in opposite directions from the central portion. The fire-resistant material may be positioned on the central portion of the fire-block device. The central portion may be positioned within the gap such that the fire-resistant material expands in response to sufficient heat to create a fire-resistant barrier.

摘要： Sound-dampening material, including a base coat and a top coat, and a method for sound-dampening a surface, are described. The base coat includes about 20-50 percent rubber emulsion, about 10-20 percent carbonate filler, about 3-10 percent fire retardant, about 3-10 percent opacity filler, and about 10-64 percent of other components. The top coat includes about 40-80 percent of a rubber emulsion, about 10-20 percent of a carbonate filler, about 3-10 percent of a fire retardant, about 3-10 percent of an opacity filler, and about 0-44 percent of other components. The method includes applying a base coat to a desired thickness allowing the base coat to dry, then applying a top coat over the base coat to a desired thickness.
