摘要： A liquid filter for removing contaminants from liquids such as lubricating oil, water or fuel, comprising a filter housing (10), a filter element (15), a support body (16) and a slide valve (17), which, when closed, prevents liquid from flowing from an unfiltered liquid area or from a filtered liquid area to a filter outlet (24). When the filter housing is opened, the slide valve moves axially and opens the filter outlet (24) so that the filter housing can empty. The slide valve (17) is detachably snapped together with the support body (16), which in turn is connected to a housing cover (12). This enables the slide valve to be detached from the support body, and reduces the level of maintenance required by the liquid filter.

摘要： A fuel filter includes a pair of housing portions defining an interior cavity. A filter element is provided in surrounding relation to a fuel pump. A diverter plate assembly supported in the housing in sealing relation with one of the housing portions, the pump and the filter element, includes a bypass valve with a ball member. The bypass valve is normally closed when the pump is operational, and fuel flow passes from the inlet, through the filter element, and through the pump to the outlet. When the pump is not operational, the bypass valve opens, and fuel flow passes from the inlet through the filter element, and then directly to the outlet, bypassing the fuel pump. The diverter plate assembly includes a segmented collar that couples the assembly to one of the housing portions; a lip seal sealing to the pump; an outer rim that seals to one of the housing portions; and an annular flange that seals to the filter element.

摘要： A fluid filter assembly incorporates a filter element and valve assembly within a filter housing and base plate. The filter element and valve assembly is a single pre-assembled unit which includes an anti-drainback valve seat and diaphragm, a by-pass valve assembly, a pleated paper filter element, and a spring endcap. The filter housing and base plate separably clamp together to enclose the filter element/valve cartridge which is replaceable, as a single assembly, once its filtering ability is degraded. The anti-drainback valve seat engages complementary features on the base plate to correctly align and position the filter/valve cartridge during assembly. Further, a recess within the top of the filter housing receives a protrusion on the filter element endcap to provide additional alignment and to provide pressure to seal the filter/valve cartridge to the base plate in a fluid-tight manner.

摘要： An oil filter for internal combustion engines is disclosed herein. The filter includes a housing with a bottom arranged below an open top and a screw-on cover threadedly engaged within the open top. The housing includes an inlet duct, a first oil discharge duct in the bottom of the housing, and a second oil discharge duct in the bottom of the housing and coaxially surrounding the first oil discharge duct. A support part is provided within the housing having a first end which is connected to the cover in an axially force-transmitting manner and a second free end inserted into the first oil discharge duct when the cover fully threadedly engaged to the open end of said housing to sealingly close the first discharge duct, and is withdrawn from the discharge duct when the cover is removed from the open end of the housing to enable discharging of oil from the housing via the first oil discharge duct. The support part supports a primary flow filter element in a lower portion of the housing and a secondary flow filter element in an upper portion of the housing and fluidly connects the primary flow filter to the second discharge duct and the secondary flow filter to the first discharge duct. The cover, the support part, the primary flow filter, and the secondary flow filter can be removed from the housing as a unit. The primary and secondary flow filters are separable from the support part for replacement.

摘要： A filter for liquids is disclosed herein. The filter includes a filter housing containing an exchangeable filter element. A support part is provided within the housing that is separable from the at least one filter element and extends at least partly centrally through the interior space of the filter element. A means is provided for releasably attaching one end of said support part to the filter housing. The housing includes first and second radial inner seals for separating a crude space surrounding an exterior of the filter element from a clean space located within interior of the filter element with the radial inner seals being mounted within the housing at the axial ends of the filter element. The filter element is folded star-shaped and sealed on the face side and provided on the inside at each of its two axial ends with a sleeve having an interior portion resting against the radial inner seals. The first radial seal includes an extension portion contained within a groove formed in the support part for separating the crude space from the clean space. An overflow valve is contained within the support part for establishing a flow connection between said crude space and said interior space when a pressure difference therebetween exceeds a predetermined value.

Check valves can optionally be provided in the intake channel and in the hollow screw to prevent unwanted flow of liquid through the filter housing, particularly when changing the filter insert. Also, a bypass valve and a bypass filter may be provided to provide for liquid flow through the filter housing when the filter insert prevents sufficient passage of liquid therethrough resulting in an increased pressure across the filter insert.
