摘要： A sole for shoes, of waterproof and vapor-permeable type, including a lower element of plastic material, with formed thereon a tread with multiple through holes, a water impermeable and permeable to water vapor membrane arranged above the lower element and superimposed on the through holes, the membrane being joined perimetrically and hermetically to at least one component of the sole to avoid rise of liquids through the sole, and a vapor-permeable or perforated mechanism protecting the membrane, arranged below the membrane superimposed on the area of the holes. The sole includes individual vapor-permeable or perforated protective elements, each arranged so as to block a corresponding through hole. The lower element forms, for each through hole, an undercut region for preventing downward extraction for each protective element.

摘要： A breathable shoe, including: an upper assembly having a breathable upper; a membrane made of a material which is waterproof and breathable, and a sole made of perforated elastomer, which are all mutually attached such that the membrane is arranged between the upper assembly and the sole, and the sole is sealed perimetrically to the membrane, in a manner to prevent moisture to enter into the upper assembly from the sole through the membrane, and to permit moisture to leave the inside of the upper assembly through the membrane and through the sole. In one preferred embodiment, the membrane is first attached to the upper assembly so that the upper assembly is a unitary upper assembly including the membrane, and such unitary upper assembly is subsequently attached to the sole.

The air-filled bladder is in fluid communication with ambient air through a filter that permits ambient air to enter the bladder but restricts liquids and particulates from entering the bladder. In operation, the filter and bladder may be portions of a bladder system that absorb shock when the footwear contacts a playing surface. Alternatively, the filter and bladder may be portions of a bladder system that ventilates the interior of the footwear. The filter may be formed of a material such as expanded polytetrafluoroethylene that is attached to a carrier.
