    • A photographic apparatus comprises a movable platform and a controller. The movable platform has an imager, and is movable and rotatable in an xy plane. The controller performs a movement control of the movable platform for an inclination correction based on an inclination angle of the photographic apparatus formed by rotation of the photographic apparatus around the optical axis, as measured with respect to a level plane, for a first stabilization for correcting hand shake caused by yaw, and for a second stabilization for correcting hand shake caused by pitch. The controller performs a determination of whether the inclination correction is to be performed, on the basis of a first hand-shake quantity caused by yaw for the first stabilization, a second hand-shake quantity caused by pitch for the second stabilization, and the inclination angle.

    • An anti-shake apparatus of a photographing-apparatus includes a movable-unit and a fixed-unit. The movable-unit has an imaging device, and is movable in a first-direction perpendicular to an optical axis of the photographing-apparatus, and performs an anti-shake operation by moving in the first-direction. The fixed-unit slidably supports the movable-unit in the first-direction. The movable-unit has first and second hall-elements for detecting a position of the movable-unit in the first-direction as a first location, in order to calculate a detected-position signal. The fixed-unit has first and second magnets for detecting the first location. The detected-position signal is calculated on the basis of an average of outputs of the first and second hall-elements.

    • A lighting control apparatus of a photographing apparatus, comprises a lighting-device, and a signal-supplying processor. The lighting-device illuminates a photographic subject by receiving one of a first rectangular wave signal and a second rectangular wave signal. The signal-supplying processor supplies the first rectangular wave signal when the length of an exposure time is less than a predetermined time, and supplies the second rectangular wave signal when the length of the exposure time is equal to or longer than a predetermined time. The first rectangular wave signal has an on state component during the exposure time, and an off state component outside the exposure time. The second rectangular wave signal has a predetermined rising time component when the off state is changed to the on state, and a predetermined falling time component when the on state is changed to the off state, in comparison with the first rectangular wave signal.

The fixed-unit has a magnet unit which is used for detecting the first and second locations, and which has first and second horizontal magnets and first and second vertical magnets. The polarities of the first and second horizontal magnets are arranged in opposite directions, in the third direction. N-pole of the first horizontal magnet and S-pole of the second horizontal magnet are separated in the first direction by a first distance, and face the horizontal hall-element.

    • An anti-shake apparatus comprises a movable-unit, a fixed-unit, a signal-processor, and a controller. The movable-unit has an imaging-device and is movable in first- and second-directions, supported by the fixed-unit. The fixed-unit has a horizontal-hall-element for detecting a first-location, and a vertical-hall-element for detecting a second-location. The signal-processor outputs a first-signal specifying the first-location, from output signals of the horizontal-hall-element, to a first A/D-converter of the controller, and outputs a second-signal specifying the second-location, from output signals of the vertical-hall-element, to a second A/D-converter of the controller. The controller calculates the first-location in an A/D-converting-operation for the first-signal, and the second-location in an A/D-converting-operation for the second-signal. An optimized-horizontal-current-value is calculated in an initial-adjustment-operation for adjusting a detecting-resolution in the A/D-converting-operation for the first-signal, by changing the current-value flowing through the horizontal-hall-element. Current having the optimized-horizontal-current-value, flows through the horizontal-hall-element when detecting the position of the movable unit.
