    • In a medical X-ray CT apparatus, a rotary portion is rotated, and a wind is produced inside the apparatus by the rotation of the rotary portion. An expanded cover portion is forced to vibrate by the wind, and noise is produced. The expanded cover portion is provided with at least one curved member including both ends. The curved member is arranged to extend along a virtual projection line obtained by geometrically projecting a virtual straight line connecting, to each other, the two ends fixed to an outer peripheral edge of an opening of the expanded cover portion onto a surface of the expanded cover portion, and the vibration of the expanded cover portion is reduced.

    • A fixing apparatus and an image formation apparatus are disclosed. The fixing apparatus includes two or more heaters with temperature detecting function that generate heat with electric current and detect temperature; a heating unit that includes the heater with the temperature detecting function; a film, a surface of which slides on the heating unit; a thermal fixing unit that is heated by the heating unit through the film for fusing a toner image that is yet-to-be fixed on a recording paper at a predetermined fixing temperature; a pressurization roller for pressing the recording paper to the thermal fixing unit; and a temperature control unit for controlling the temperature of the heater to be a predetermined temperature based on the temperature of the heater detected by the heater with the temperature detecting function.

    • A rotating unit forwards and rewinds a recording medium by rotating in a normal direction and in a reverse direction, respectively. A recording unit records an image on a surface of the recording medium. An erasing unit erases the image recorded on the surface of the recording medium. A shift-amount adjusting unit adjusts a shift amount per unit time of a forwarding portion of the recording medium at a recording position or on an upstream side of the recording position in a forwarding direction. A weight is fixed to the forwarding portion of the recording medium exposed outside from an opening that is provided on a casing.
