摘要： A monitoring device for detecting a value indicative of the actuation stroke and/or release stroke of a thrust element of a brake actuating mechanism, the thrust element being actuated by a lever of the brake actuating mechanism, including a sensor for sensing variations in a physical property of at least one part of the brake actuating mechanism, whereby the sensor and the part of the brake actuating mechanism are arranged so that by the relative movement between the part of the brake actuating mechanism and the sensor repeated variations in the physical property along a path of the relative movement are created and sensed. The path is formed between the lever and a stationary part being adjacent to the lever. The invention is directed both to drum brakes and to disc brakes.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of preparing an insoluble separation matrix, which method comprises salt-treatment of a polysaccharide gel followed by cross-linking of the polysaccharide polymers. In one embodiment, the method comprises providing an aqueous solution of a gelatable native polysaccharide; lowering the temperature of the polysaccharide solution to a value below its gelling point; salt-treatment by adding at least one salt to the resulting polysaccharide; and cross-linking the salt-treated polysaccharide. The polysaccharide may be prepared e.g. into particles, membranes or monoliths.

The method includes receiving an activation command in the control unit, for beginning the calibration, detecting any movements of the operating device, storing values corresponding to the movements in the control unit together with corresponding thrust and steering values, and repeating the detecting step and the storing step until a termination command is received in the control unit, thereby using the stored values in subsequent operation of the operating device for indicating the direction of travel of the watercraft. An arrangement for calibrating a system for controlling thrust and steering of a drive arrangement in a watercraft is also provided.

摘要： The present invention relates to a composition comprising IgY antibodies against at least two different fungi, the use of the composition for the preparation of a pharmaceutical especially for prophylaxis and/or therapy of all kinds of fungal infections, such as conditions caused by organisms belonging to the Candida genus or Aspergillus genus, especially of fungi that are less sensitive to antimycotica and a diagnotstic method using the IgY antibodies. Further it relates to immunisation of birds with a combination of at least two different species of fungi to the Candida genus or Aspergillus genus and a diagnostic method for fungi. It also relates to relates to a novel method for treatment and/or prophylaxis of fungal infections, especially infections by fungi which have lowered sensitivity or resistance to antimycotics. The method is both safe and effective. This is achieved by using IgY directed against fungi, in particular against Candida species, which have a lowered sensitivity or resistance against antimycotics. The specific IgY has been obtained by hyper immunising birds with one or several fungi as antigen in order to stimulate the production of immune globulins (IgY) against such fungi. The present invention also relates to a pharmaceutical product from eggs of birds containing immune globulin or a fragment thereof, which can be combined with other preparations, nutritients or pharmaceuticals for simultaneous, separate or sequential use in the prophylaxis or therapy of gastrointestinal infections in newborn infants.
