摘要： The invention provides a dielectric material for a plasma display panel which can be fired at a low temperature, is less likely to cause warpage in a glass substrate when fired on the glass substrate and can increase the strength of the glass substrate when fired on the glass substrate, and a glass plate for a plasma display panel including a dielectric layer formed using the dielectric material. The dielectric material for a plasma display panel contains ZnO—B2O2—SiO2-based glass powder, and the glass powder contains substantially no PbO and contains, by mole percent, 1% to 20% (both inclusive) ZnO, 26% to 50% (both inclusive) B2O2, 42% (exclusive) to 50% (inclusive) SiO2, and 0.1% to 5% (both inclusive) Bi2O2.

摘要： A projection type image display device superior in reliability and also superior in both repairability and maintainability is to be provided at a low cost. Support members disposed between liquid crystal panels and a prism are made of a thermoplastic polymer material, and the liquid crystal panels and the support members are fixed to each other by heat-fusion of the support members. When it is necessary to remove a liquid crystal panel which is at fault for example from the corresponding support member, the fused portion on the support member side which less expensive is cut off, thereby permitting the liquid crystal panel which is expensive to be taken out re-utilizably without any damage thereto.

摘要： Firing process and apparatus for uniformly heat-treating a substrate having a film-forming composition thereon, wherein the substrate is subjected to a first soaking step in which the substrate is held for a predetermined time in a first heating chamber whose temperature is maintained at a first value, so that the temperature within the substrate is held at the first value evenly throughout an entire mass of the substrate, and after feeding of the substrate into a second heating chamber whose temperature is maintained at a predetermined second value which is different from the first value by a predetermined difference, the substrate is subjected to a second soaking step in which the substrate is held for a second predetermined time in the second heating chamber, so that the temperature within the substrate is held at the second value evenly throughout the entire mass of the substrate.

Opposite runs of the transmission belt are pressed inwardly by two spring-loaded tension pulleys supported by tension arms pivoted to each other. A triangular frame, as guided by a fixed pin, acts on the tension arms to spread the tension pulleys apart to relax the transmission belt. In the declutching state so established, the tension pulleys are opposed across and equidistant to a line extending through centers of the drive and driven pulleys.

摘要： A walking operator type lawn mower comprising a steering handle extending rearwardly thereof, a cutting blade clutch for making and breaking drive transmission to a cutting blade, and a clutch lever pivotable between a clutch engaging position adjacent the steering handle and a declutching position away from the steering handle. A manually operable interlocking member and a control device are provided between the clutch lever and the cutting blade clutch. The control device is constantly urged to a position to disengage the clutch. The interlocking member is switchable between a position to interlock the clutch lever and the control device and a position to release the two components from each other, and is constantly urged to the release position. The cutting blade clutch is engaged only when the interlocking member is maintained in the interlocking position and the clutch lever is moved to the clutch engaging position.
