Both the network node (28) and the wireless terminal (30) have multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) capabilities. A MIMO-related order (90) is generated for inclusion in control signaling on a high speed downlink shared channel from the network node (28) to the wireless terminal (30). The MIMO-related order (90) is configured to modify channel quality indication (CQI) communications between the wireless terminal (30) and the base station (28) in view of MIMO capabilities of the wireless terminal (30). The method further comprises providing a channel quality indication (CQI) report (92) the wireless terminal (30) to the base station (28) in accordance with the order.

摘要： A method, User Equipment (UE), and radio base station or NodeB for controlling the downlink transmit power of a Fractional Downlink Physical Control Channel (F-DPCH) in a multi-carrier High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA) system. Single-carrier Transmit Power Control (TPC) commands are modified to support different kinds of multi-carrier scenarios. The UE defines at least one TPC command for adjustment of the transmit power of the F-DPCH of N downlink carriers, the number of TPC commands being equal to or less than N, and transmits the TPC command(s) on at least one of M uplink carriers. The NodeB receives the TPC command(s) and adjusts the transmit power of the F-DPCH of the N downlink carriers based on the received TPC command(s).

摘要： The present invention relates to fast random access methods and arrangements for the enhanced uplink dedicated channel of E-UTRAN (Evolved Universal terrestrial radio access network). A user equipment (UE) being in a low activity state sends a random access request comprising a preamble on a physical random access channel (PRACH) to a NodeB. The NodeB receives the request and sends in response to the received random access request a response comprising information associated with detection of the preamble on an acquisition indicator channel (AICH). The response comprises further in an extension of the AICH an indication of an action to be taken by the UE. In an embodiment of the present invention the action is to access the E-DCH and the response comprises configuration parameters to the E-DCH.
