    • Embodiments of a dynamic leakage control circuit for use with graphics processor circuitry are described. The dynamic leakage control circuit selectively enables back biasing of the transistors comprising the graphics processor circuits during particular modes of operation. The back biasing levels are controlled by two separate power rails. A first power rail is coupled to an existing power supply and the second power rail is coupled to a separate adjustable voltage regulator. A separate voltage regulator may also be provided for the first power rail. A hardware-based state machine or software process is programmed to detect the occurrence of one or more modes of operation and adjust the voltage regulators for the first and second power rails to either enable or disable the back biasing state of the circuit, or alter the threshold voltage of the circuit within a specified voltage range.

    • Systems and methods for generating a Hardware Design Language (HDL) assertion from a waveform diagram are disclosed. One method comprises: identifying a timing relationship between first and second signals in the diagram; and generating an HDL assertion corresponding to the relationship. The relationship comprises a portion of the first signal, a portion of the second signal, and an interval between the portions. Another method comprises: identifying a combinatorial relationship between two input signals and an output signal in the diagram; and generating an HDL assertion corresponding to the relationship. One system comprises logic for performing the steps of: receiving a plurality of signal descriptions, each describing one of a plurality of signals; receiving a description of a timing or combinatorial relationship between at least two of the plurality of signals; generating a waveform diagram including a representation of the relationship; and generating an HDL assertion corresponding to the relationship.

    • The present invention discloses a method for localized scrolling table display in a webpage. The method includes: dividing a table being displayed into at least a 2×2 array of an upper left table, a lower left table, an upper right table and a lower right table; setting the lower left table and the upper right table to hide portions that are beyond display area; and setting the lower right table to hide portions that are beyond the display area and to include a vertical scrollbar and a horizontal scrollbar. The upper right table and the lower right table are controlled by the horizontal scrollbar, and the lower left table and the lower right table are controlled by the vertical scrollbar. The present invention is able to display a table in a webpage with a localized scrolling display and a partial frozen display, and allows unlimited number of data columns and rows in the webpage and still maintains good readability. This satisfies the need for displaying table of a large amount of data for data comparison, and allows the user to conveniently and freely scroll any cell of the table to the display area to be displayed.

    • Mechanisms for performing database queries are provided. With these mechanisms, in response to a query request, a query plan intended for minimum query response time and a query plan intended for minimum query total time for the query request are obtained execution of the minimum query response time query plan and the minimum query total time query plan is started. Before the execution of the minimum query total time query plan reaches a specified point, an initial query result obtained from the execution of the minimum query response time query plan is output. In response to the execution of the minimum query total time query plan reaching the specified point, continuing the execution of the minimum query total time query plan to output remaining query results.

    • This utility model relates to a decorative light, and particularly, to a decorative light capable of avoiding an open circuit condition on an entire string of bulbs that operate in series when an individual bulb is removed. The decorative light comprises a socket, a bulb base, a bulb and two terminals, wherein the socket is provided with a retainer therein, which has an opening laterally extending therethrough, and an elastic, conductive ring or coil with a thickness smaller than a width of the opening is disposed within the opening. When the elastic ring or coil is in a natural state, the elastic ring extends outside the retainer through the opening at two sides of the retainer. The bulb base is further provided with an inserting partition at the bottom thereof The elastic conductive ring has two states: one is a separating state where the bulb base is inserted into the socket. In this first state, the inserting partition of the bulb base separates one side of the elastic ring or coil from the corresponding terminals. The other state is a conducting state of the two terminals when the bulb base is removed from the socket. In this second state both sides of the elastic, conductive ring or coil provide contact with the two terminals respectively. This utility model provides a decorative light capable of preventing failure of the complete string of bulbs when any bulb is removed.
