摘要： An automatic image stabilization device which is arranged to detect image movement information from a sensed image signal produced from an image sensor and to reduce the image movement comprises a movement detecting circuit which obtains movement vector information for each of a plurality of parts of an image plane, and a weight setting circuit arranged to attach weight to each movement vector information and to vary the weighting degree according to photographing conditions. A camera using this device is arranged to correct the shaking of the camera on the basis of the result of a computing operation performed on a camera shake detected from the signal produced from the image sensor together with a camera shake physically detected by means of an accelerometer.

摘要： An image shake detecting device for detecting a shake of an image on an image sensing plane on the basis of a video signal output from an image sensor includes detection circuits arranged to detect image displacement in a plurality of areas set on the image sensing plane, and a control microcomputer which makes a discrimination, on the basis of information output from these detection circuits, between a movement of a camera and a solo movement of a photographed object. The device thus accurately makes compensation for an image shake by judging the state of the image on the basis of information output from these detection circuits. The image shake detecting device further includes a computing circuit arranged to compute a quantity of an image shake on the basis of a difference in detecting timing of a feature point of the image and a sensitivity control circuit arranged to change the detection sensitivity of the shake detection circuits. Further disclosed is an object tracing device to which the invented image shake detecting device is applied.

摘要： A host computer can prevent a peripheral device connected to the host computer from unexpectedly shifting into a non-connection state through control of the host computer. Further, when the peripheral device, such as an electronic camera, cannot receive enough power from a connection line, such as a USB, the peripheral is still able to use the available power effectively. To achieve these objectives, there is a disclosed computer peripheral device connected to the host computer, wherein the peripheral device is comprised of a connection signal transmitter and a controller. The connection signal transmitter is used to transmit from the peripheral device to the host computer a signal to control the connection with the host computer. The controller is used for proceeding a running state of the computer peripheral to a non-connection state, after the connection signal transmitter transmits a signal for a non-connection state to the host computer.

摘要： A photographing system for detecting and correcting camera shake in a camera having a photoelectric converting circuit for converting an optical image formed by an objective lens into an electrical signal includes a detecting device for detecting the shake of the photographing system. A deflecting device optically deflects the optical image on the basis of a detection signal from the detecting device. Shifting circuitry is provided for shifting an image received by the photoelectric converting circuitry, and a calculating circuit is provided for calculating the amount of shift of the image on the basis of the amount of deflection produced by the deflecting device. The photoelectric converting circuitry produces electrical signals corresponding to a plurality of color components, and the shifting circuitry processes at least one of the electrical signals on the basis of the result of the calculation by the calculating circuit. Thus, camera shake may be corrected by both optical and electrical correction.
