摘要： There is disclosed a door or wall construction which comprises vertically spaced upper and lower horizontal frame members and horizontally spaced vertical side frame members coupled with the upper and lower frame members to define a rectangular frame. A panel is joined with the lower frame member and side frame members to define a lower door portion. All of the frame members comprise elongate channels having substantially identical transverse, U-shaped cross sectional-dimensions and are oriented with open faces of the U-shaped cross sections facing inwardly, which open faces are dimensioned for embracing at least outer edge portions of the panel. A novel grill structure is also disclosed which forms an upper door portion. The grill structure comprises a plurality of vertically oriented, horizontally spaced elongate rods and a pair of elongate, U-shaped channels dimensioned for embracing and overlying the respective inwardly facing surfaces of the upper frame member and the second intermediate frame member. The channels include a plurality of spaced apart sleeves for receiving and retaining opposite end portions of the rods.

摘要： There is disclosed a door framing system for a barn door or the like wherein a plurality of horizontal and vertical frame members are joined together to define a generally rectilinear frame structure. All of the frame members are fabricated from substantially U-shaped channel members of similar cross-section, such that they may be cut from stock material of said U-shaped cross-section. Corner joining brackets are employed which include a pair of transversely disposed base sections, with spaced side flanges extending from each said base section to provide a U-shaped surface configuration which will embrace the outer side faces of the frame members. The brackets including clamping means for coupling the brackets to the respective frame members. There is also disclosed various bracing structures for such a door frame construction, as well as various hardware for effecting hanging of the door, guiding of the door with respect to a building structure and stop means for maintaining the door in the proper closed position.

摘要： A forceps includes a housing having a shaft extending therefrom. The shaft has an end effector assembly that defines a longitudinal axis therethrough. The end effector assembly includes first and second jaw members disposed in opposed relation and moveable from a first, open position to a second, closed position for grasping tissue therebetween and a knife. One or more jaw members include knife blade channels defined therein. Each knife blade channel includes a polygonal longitudinal cross-section defined therein. The knife includes a knife edge and a knife base. The knife base includes a corresponding polygonal longitudinal cross-section. The knife is configured to translate through the knife blade channels and the knife base is configured to slidingly engage the knife base channel having the polygonal cross section upon translation of the knife. In embodiments, the knife blade channel and the knife base have a T-shaped longitudinal cross-section.

摘要： The present invention is directed toward a method of measuring a blood parameter and, in particular, a glucose measurement system controlled by a novel controller. In one embodiment, the system has a controller, a pump, flush solution in a first reservoir, IV solution in a second reservoir, a first valve, a second valve, and a plurality of tubing placing the pump, reservoirs, and valves in fluid communication with each other. The system operates by establishing a first state where the first state has the first valve open and second valve closed, closing the first valve, instructing the pump to extract fluid from tubing having IV solution therein, sensing a presence of blood at a first location in the tubing, measuring a blood parameter, instructing the pump to re-infuse the extracted fluid back into the tubing, opening the second valve where the second valve permits flush solution to flow from the first reservoir through tubing, instructing the pump to extract fluid from tubing having flush solution therein, closing the second valve, instructing the pump to re-infuse the extracted fluid having flush solution therein back into the tubing, and opening the first valve.
