摘要： The present invention provides an image display device that reduces variations in brightness of the light emitting elements included in the device due to a voltage drop on the power source line of the device and TFT threshold voltage variations and displays good quality images. The image display device is equipped with a pixel circuit voltage detecting means to selectively output a voltage internal to a pixel circuit included in each of a plurality of pixels of the device to a signal line to which the pixel circuit connects. Its drive circuit is equipped with a voltage addition means to add the signal line voltage and a signal voltage corresponding to image data to be displayed and output a sum voltage to the signal line again.

The display device having a touch panel includes a display panel, and a touch panel which is arranged on the display panel in an overlapping manner in plane. The first substrate includes, on a surface side thereof which faces the second substrate, a plurality of first lines which is arranged parallel to each other in the first direction, a first chip mounting region on which the first semiconductor chip is mounted, and a plurality of first connection portions each of which is constituted of a portion of each line in the plurality of first lines, the first semiconductor chip includes a plurality of first bump electrodes which is arranged in one direction, the plurality of first connection portions are arranged in the arrangement direction of the plurality of first bump electrodes within the first-chip mounting region, and an arrangement pitch of the plurality of first bump electrodes is set larger than an arrangement pitch of the plurality of first connection portions.

The circuit configuration comprises a scanning circuit for controlling a plurality of pixel circuits; a plurality of scanning wirings for conveying the signals of the scanning circuit to the pixel circuits; a plurality of first and second wirings for supplying image signals and power to the pixel circuits, arranged in parallel to each other and crossing said scanning wirings; and a drive circuit for supplying image signals and power to the first and second wirings; all disposed over a glass substrate, wherein the drive circuit supplies power to both first and second wirings when the light-emitting devices emit light in response to image signals.

In addition, a connecter is provided for connecting either one of the display signal voltages or the pixel drive voltages to a second node of the capacitance.

摘要： A data driver circuit which enables the square measure of the non-display areas of image display devices to be reduced is to be provided. The driver circuit has two DA converters which convert the digital signals, in accordance with more significant bits thereof, into analog voltages; a voltage divider which divides the output voltages of the two DA converters in accordance with less significant bits of the signals; and a shift register which generates trigger signals in synchronism with the digital signals. The voltage divider, arranged in the gap between the two DA converters, comprises memory elements arrayed in two-dimensional matrixes, and a plurality of resistive wirings. The memory elements store decoded signals generated by the decoders in synchronism with the trigger signals, and selectively supply, in accordance with the decoded signals stored by the memory elements, the divided voltages which derive from the two DA converters and are generated on the resistive wirings.
