摘要： The invention provides a user device (3) connected to a source unit (2) through a communication network for receiving digital transmissions in the form of bursts from a source unit. The user device comprises a receiver (300) for receiving bursts from the source unit, and a rendering unit (36) for rendering the digital broadcast transmission based on the received bursts. The user device further includes: a buffer (320) for buffering for each received burst for a predefined buffer duration, the user device being provided to transmit the buffered bursts to the rendering unit in response to expiry of the predefined buffer duration, and a quality analyzer (37) for evaluating a quality indicator related to the quality of the burst, checking whether the quality indicator matches a quality condition related to a predefined quality threshold, and in response to the quality indicator of the received burst not matching the quality condition, requesting retransmission of the burst, the quality analyzer (37) being arranged to operate within the predefined buffer duration.

摘要： Data encrypted with a scrambling key Ks are transmitted from a service provider via a master device to a plurality of client devices having unique identifiers, administered by the master device. A set of partial keys comprising a respective partial key for each respective one of the plurality of clients is calculated at the service provider, by applying a predetermined function to the unique identifiers of all clients but for the identifier of the respective one of the plurality of clients. This set of partial keys is transmitted to the master device, which transmits to each respective clients the respective partial key calculated therefore. Each client can then derive the scrambling key from the respective partial key received from the master device by reference to its own unique identifier, and use the result to decrypt the data.

An amount of time elapsing before the mobile device moves to a second position at which the mobile device experiences a loss of the wireless connection via the first bearer is predicted. An alert that indicates that the loss is occurring in the amount of time is generated. The alert is sent to the mobile device as a response to the message.

A computer receives a first message from which a current position of a vehicle on a trip, destination, service(s) being provided to mobile device(s) in the vehicle, service provider(s) and network(s) are extracted. Optimal itineraries are generated by generating sets of optimal parameters that include paths for which connectivity measures satisfy predefined criteria and hops that indicate positions associated with connectivity changes. A response to the first message indicates the optimal itineraries and the associated sets of optimal parameters and is sent to a vehicle-based device. Sending the response results in the mobile device(s) making the connectivity changes when the vehicle is detected at the hops.
