摘要： An arthroscopic method of glenoid resurfacing with a meniscal allograft. The glenohumeral joint is debrided and holes are formed around the anterior and posterior perimeter of the glenoid rim. A meniscal allograft is prepared by removing it from its bone block and then bringing together its two horns to form a ring. Subsequent to the formation of the graft ring, a series of loops are installed along the edge of the graft. The loops correspond to the holes on the glenoid surface. Once the graft has been successfully placed on the glenoid, the loops are positioned in close proximity to the pre-drilled holes. Fixation devices such as anchors may be installed over the loops, to attach the perimeter of the graft to the glenoid through the pre-drilled holes.

A dual-sided rotary drill cutter is used to form a tibial and femoral socket by retrograde and antegrade cutting, respectively. The method is used to form a pair of sockets in the joint, which accept the respective ends of a replacement graft. The dual-sided cutter is configured such that it cuts in both directions (retrograde and antegrade) and does not need to be flipped over between forming the respective sockets.

摘要： Methods of arthroscopic resurfacing of a joint utilizing a biological component strengthened with fibrin glue. The biological component is selected from the group consisting of PRP, bone marrow aspirate (BMA) and autologous conditioned plasma (ACP). The biological component/fibrin glue composition may be inserted (by injection or by employing a biologic resurfacing mold, for example) into a transosseous tunnel in the vicinity of the defect to be repaired. Upon insertion at the defect site, the biological component/fibrin glue composition is designed to coagulate and solidify within few minutes, to advance the healing of the damaged tissue and tissue growth. The biological component/fibrin glue composition may optionally comprise components such as growth factors, antiseptic chemicals and/or antibiotics and/or electrolytes, or hormones or site-specific hybrid proteins, among others.

摘要： An “all-inside double-bundle” ACL reconstruction technique, according to which two femoral sockets and two closed tibial sockets are provided to accommodate retrograde fixation of two grafts (for example, two semitendonosus allografts) within the four sockets. At least one of the tibial sockets is formed by using a retrograde drill device provided with a retrograde drill cutter detachable from a retrograde drill guide pin. The femoral tunnels or sockets may be formed by the retrograde drill method or by a conventional method, and may be carried out before or after the formation of the tibial sockets. The grafts (for example, two semitendonosus allografts) are secured in the knee by employing a continuous loop/button construct provided with a button, preferably of titanium alloy, and a continuous loop of suture attached to the button.

摘要： An insert-molded suture anchor with a biodegradable polymer body in which a loop of suture is totally contained within the polymer. The suture anchor body features a drive end that is shaped to be received into a recess in the end of a hand driver. Anchoring ribs are formed along the remaining length of the anchor. The loop of suture which includes and eyelet for attaching a suture strand is totally embedded within the anchor body during the insert-molding fabrication process. The anchor is produced by placing the suture in an injection mold, and injecting biodegradable polymer into the mold.
