    • An electricity saving device for a user interface terminal device of a cellular phone is used for a cellular phone. The cellular phone includes two devices, one of them is a net communicator, and the other is a user interface terminal device. The net communicator consists of a base frequency module, radio frequency module and bluetooth module, which are responsible for building a communication with a cellular telephone base station. And, the user interface terminal device consists a bluetooth, display, keyboard, horn and microphone, which are responsible for outputting voice, displaying message, accepting keyboard input, and voice input, respectively. The keyboard is a retractable keyboard; the pressing-back action of a keyboard will activate a contact switch. A voltage signal is generated and sent into a central processing unit of the user interface terminal device after the contact switch is activated, the central processing unit command a bluetooth module of the user interface terminal device to enter into a park mode so as to save electricity.

    • A method of error management in a data storage system having a target device, with the target device receiving commands from a first initiator and the target device concurrently receiving commands from a second initiator. The target device is typically a storage device operating as a PPRC secondary. A first initiator is a device which communicates with the target device through small computer systems interface (SCSI) protocol. The first initiator is typically a host computer or server. The second initiator communicates with the target device through peer-to-peer remote copy PPRC initiator mode commands. The second initiator is typically a separate storage device in a peer-to-peer remote copy (PPRC) relationship with the target device. The method consists of managing errors associated with a command sent to the target device from the first initiator independently from the management of errors associated with a command sent to the target device from the second initiator.

    • An apparatus, system, and method are provided for maintaining task prioritization and load balancing of I/O tasks on servers coupled by a plurality of communication channels. The apparatus includes a task controller for maintaining system resources on a failed target channel while resubmitting an unsuccessful task to a different channel. Also, the apparatus includes an upgrade module for upgrading a task prioritization level of a failed I/O task. Additionally, a load module is provided for balancing I/O tasks evenly across the plurality of communication channels according to a prioritization algorithm. The system includes the task controller and a device controller configured to interface with the task controller. The method includes a computer readable medium with computer readable code for selecting a channel, upgrading the prioritization level of a failed task, and maintaining resources on the failed channel while resubmitting the failed I/O task on a different channel.

    • The present invention is drawn to methods and compounds for photodynamic therapy (PDT) of a target tissue or compositions in a mammalian subject, using a light source that preferably transmits light to a treatment site transcutaneously. The method provides for administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a targeted substance, which is either a targeted photosensitizing agent, or a photosensitizing agent delivery system, or a targeted prodrug. This targeted substance preferably selectively binds to the target tissue. Light at a wavelength or waveband corresponding to that which is absorbed by the targeted substance is then administered. The light intensity is relatively low, but a high total fluence is employed to ensure the activation of the targeted photosensitizing agent or targeted prodrug product. Transcutaneous PDT is useful in the treatment of specifically selected target tissues, such as vascular endothelial tissue, the abnormal vascular walls of tumors, solid tumors of the head and neck, tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, tumors of the liver, tumors of the breast, tumors of the prostate, tumors of the lung, nonsolid tumors, malignant cells of the hematopoietic and lymphoid tissue and other lesions in the vascular system or bone marrow, and tissue or cells related to autoimmune and inflammatory disease.
