    • A wave gear drive (1) has a silk-hat shaped flexible external gear (12) comprising a cylindrical body (13), a circular diaphragm (14), a circular boss (15) formed integrally on the diaphragm (14), and external teeth (16) formed on the body (13) at a side of an open end (13a) thereof. The boss (13) of the flexible external gear, a cross roller bearing (7) and the rigid internal gear (11) are arranged between first and second end plates (2, 3) so as to define a substantially sealed inside space of the wave gear drive (1). A resilient seal ring member (8) is mounted on the open end (13a) of the flexible external gear to divide the inside space into an inside portion (9) where a first lubricant having a high viscosity is supplied and an outside portion (10) where a second lubricant having a low viscosity is supplied. These lubricants are prevented from being mixed with each other during operation, thus proper lubrication to portions of the teeth (11a, 16) of the gears (11, 12) and to a wave bearing (19) of the wave generator (17) can be maintained.

    • On determining an entire majority of five i-th received data bits which correspond to an i-th original data bit repeatedly received five times, first through I-th received data bits of a first received frame are stored in a main buffer (41) as first through I-th memorized data bits. A first partial majority is determined as regards two data bits, the i-th memorized data bit and an i-th received data bit of a second received frame. When the two data bits are and are not identical, first and second logic values are stored in an auxiliary buffer (42) as an i-th auxiliary data bit. Second and third partial majorities are successively determined by using the memorized and the auxiliary data bits. Likewise determined, a fourth partial majority gives the entire majority. When an original frame is repeatedly received more than five times, first through (N-1)-th counter buffers are substituted for the auxiliary buffer to memorize first through I-th memorized counts for use together with the memorized data bits in successively determining partial majorities of the type described.

    • A lock control method for on-board terminal equipment of a mobile telecommunications network surely inhibits persons other than the user or an authorized person person from unlocking the equipment with the intention of originating a call thereon. When a unauthorized person enters a lock code resembling a set first lock code, or unlock code, by chance after a great number of lock codes, the first lock code is replaced with a second lock code. Hence, the unauthorized person cannot unlock the equipment despite that the entered code may coincide with the first lock code. While the unauthorized person may further enter other different lock codes, the second lock code serving as the unlock code will be replaced with the first lock code as the entered code approaches the second lock code.
