    • A liquid crystal display (LCD) including an LCD panel, a gate driver and a data driver is provided. The LCD panel has pixel units, scan lines and several pairs of data lines. Each of the pixel units is electrically connected to a corresponding scan line and a corresponding pair of data lines and has two display regions respectively connected to different data lines. Besides, the gate driver is electrically connected to several scan lines. The data driver is electrically connected to several pairs of data lines. The data driver has a voltage difference generator electrically connected to several pairs of data lines such that the voltages outputted by the pair of data lines are maintained at a fixed voltage difference. Thus, the invention simplifies the complexity of circuit signal processing and lowers the production cost of circuits.

    • An MVA-LCD panel, including an active component array substrate, an opposite substrate and a liquid crystal layer disposed between is provided. The active component array substrate includes scan lines, data lines, control lines and pixel units. Each of the pixel units includes an active component, a domain division electrode (DDE) and a pixel electrode. The active component is electrically connected with the corresponding scan line and the corresponding data line, the DDE being electrically connected with the corresponding control line, the pixel electrode being electrically connected with the active component. The pixel electrode has first slits, and the first DDE are disposed under the first slits. The opposite substrate has a common electrode layer facing toward the active component array substrate. The common electrode layer includes second slits and at least a part of the second slits is disposed over the first domain division electrode.

    • In a transflective liquid crystal display having a transmission area and the reflection area, the transmissive electrode is connected to a switching element to control the liquid crystal layer in the transmission area, and the reflective electrode is connected to the switching element via a separate capacitor to control the liquid crystal layer in the reflection area. The separate capacitor is used to shift the reflectance in the reflection area toward a higher voltage end in order to avoid the reflectance inversion problem. In addition, an adjustment capacitor is connected between the reflective electrode and a different common line. The adjustment capacitor is used to reduce or eliminate the discrepancy between the gamma curve associated with the transmittance and the gamma curve associated with the reflectance.

    • A multi-domain vertical alignment (MVA) liquid crystal display panel includes an array substrate, a color filter (CF) substrate arranged in parallel to the array substrate, a plurality of bump patterns disposed on the CF substrate, and a plurality of transparent electrode patterns disposed on the array substrate. Each bump pattern includes a main bump corresponding to a pixel region, and at least one bump wing corresponding to a scan line or a data line. Each main bump includes a first protrusion connected to a side of the main bump. Each transparent electrode pattern includes a main slit. The transparent electrode pattern further includes a plurality of fine slits disposed in an inner side and in an outer side of the main slit. The fine slits disposed in the outer side of the main slit near the data line have different lengths.
