    • An FIR filter of a DS-CDMA UWB modem transmitter and a control method thereof are disclosed. The FIR filter includes an LUT control device for outputting a resultant value of “0” to all adders if data values corresponding to upper three chips H2, M2 and L2 and lower three chips H, M and L are “000000”, and discriminating which group between a first group and a second group the upper/lower data values belong to if the upper/lower data values are not“000000”. The LUT control device provides upper or lower LUT values to the adders using the upper or lower LUT values as they are, or converts the upper or lower LUT values into 2's complements and provides the converted values to the adders according to the discriminated first or second group.

    • There is provided a method for estimating a position of a mobile node in a wireless sensor network. The method includes estimating a frequency offset between anchor nodes and estimating a difference between times when ranging frames from a mobile node are received by two anchor node, without use of a separate synchronization unit, such as a network synchronized clock supply unit that supplies a network synchronized clock via a cable, in a wireless sensor network, unlike a conventional method of estimating Time of Flight (TOF) using Two-Way Ranging (TWR) and Symmetric Double Sided-TWR (SDS-TWR) schemes. The estimated receiving time difference is directly applied to a Time Difference Of Arrival (TDOA) algorithm in order to estimate the position of the mobile node.

    • A system for realistically reproducing multimedia content includes a realistic multimedia content producer for providing the multimedia content; a device metadata server for providing device metadata for realistically reproducing the multimedia content; and a realistic multimedia reproducing apparatus for downloading the device metadata for the multimedia content from the device metadata server, and applying device metadata selected by a user to thereby reproduce the multimedia content.     • Provided are a system for channel sounding of broadband single carrier mobile communications and a method thereof. A channel sounding device is provided, which achieves precise modeling of a broadband mobile communication in a 5 GHz band. The channel sounding device can perform precise channel modeling by collecting broadband channel data of 20 MHz between a base station and a mobile station moving at maximum 150 km/h, using a sounding signal including a 802.15.3 preamble, a maximum length sequence (MLS) signal, and a single carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) symbol overcoming a limitation of signal distortion of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. The channel sounding device can simultaneously perform modeling of interference of an adjacent channel as well as a transmission channel.
