To generate individual scan signals, the scan driver includes samplers, each of which samples an input signal in synchronization with a clock signal or an inverted clock signal; and an OR gate and a NAND gate, each of which performs a logical operation on output signals of adjacent samplers and generates a scan signal. Each of the flip-flops receives an input signal, a clock signal, and an inverted clock signal and outputs a scan signal. The scan signal is shifted and input to an adjacent flip-flop. Each of the flip-flops includes three transistors of the same conductivity type and a capacitor. Thus, layout area is minimized owing to simplification of circuits, and static current is cut off to reduce power consumption.

摘要： An emission control driver that applies an emission control signal for controlling an emission operation of a pixel circuit is provided. The emission control driver includes an emission control circuit with a plurality of transistors and a capacitor placed between a positive power supply voltage and a negative power supply voltage. When the driver is fabricated in an organic light emitting display (OLED), the transistors send a high level or low level emission control signal to a pixel cirucit in response to a scan signal, and can be the same type transistors as the pixel circuit transistors. Further, the emission control driver may include a transistor for interrupting the positive power supply voltage in response to an initializing signal to initialize a capacitor of the pixel circuit.
