    • A reactive power compensator includes a control block with a limiter and a primary delay-control block with a limiter that set, based on an output of a voltage sensor, reactive power produced by an SVC to a predetermined value. A reactive power controller sets the reactive power produced by the SVC to the predetermined value controls a voltage of a second bus to fall within a predetermined range. This is performed by adjusting an initial value of the reactive power that is output by the SVC, when a bus voltage of the second bus laid at a position apart from a first bus that is laid at a position near the SVC is deviated from a predetermined fixed range.

    • A sensor module includes a sensor, a cover, and a wiring unit. The cover holds the sensor and includes a connector configured to make a connection with an external device. The wiring unit is held by the cover, is arranged from the connector to the sensor, and includes a connecting member extending from the connector to a central region of the cover in its width direction, which is perpendicular to the central line, and a wiring member extending from the central region of the cover in its width direction to a vicinity of the sensor.     • A stroke sensor has two magnets, which are magnetized in a cross-section direction and are displaced in a longitudinal direction, and two magnetism sensitive sections arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction. The magnets have circular-arc-shaped swelling end edges respectively and are magnetized such that the swelling end edges have opposite polarities. Thus, a distribution of a magnetic flux density on an arrangement axis substantially coincides with a sine curve. The magnetic flux having such the distribution is displaced in the longitudinal direction together with the magnets. The magnetism sensitive sections are arranged on the arrangement axis to be distant from each other by a distance of one fourth of a cycle of the sine curve. Thus, the stroke sensor that is not affected by temperature and that has high sensing accuracy can be provided.

    • A movement detection unit detects a movement of a detected object and outputs a voltage signal to an electronic control unit. A buffer unit implements buffer amplification on the outputted voltage signal. A pull-up resistor element or a pull-down resistor element is connected with the buffer unit via a wiring portion. A current detection unit detects a direction of an electric current flowing through the wiring portion to output a safe specific voltage signal to the electronic control unit on disconnection of the wiring portion. A power-supply-voltage detection unit detects decrease in a power supply voltage applied to the movement detection unit. A voltage switching unit sets the voltage signal, which is outputted to the electronic control unit through the wiring portion, on a high-voltage side or a low-voltage side according to the detected direction of the electric current, on detection of decrease in the power supply voltage.
