摘要： Methods, systems, and computer program products for multipath Shortest-Path-First (SPF) computations and distance-based interface selection for VoIP traffic are disclosed. According to one method, a multi-path router instance associated with a plurality of network interfaces in a source IP device is provided. A cost is assigned to each of a plurality of internal segments between the multi-path router instance and the network interfaces associated with the multi-path router instance. An aggregate cost is calculated for each of a plurality of traffic paths originating at the multi-path router instance in the source IP device and extending through each of the network interfaces associated with the multi-path router instance to a destination IP device in the network. A list of IP paths is generated, and the paths in the list are ranked based on the calculated cost. Traffic is sent from the source IP device over at least one of the paths in the list. The path costs and rankings are updated in response to segment cost changes.

According to one method, a plurality of media packets associated with a media session are received at a voice over IP device. A NAT learning throttling filter is applied to select the subset of the packets to be used for NAT learning and thereby limit the number of received media packets to be used for NAT learning. 摘要： A circuit for determining an initial winding combination for motor startup of a polyphase dc motor having a transistor driver circuit comprising a plurality of high side winding drivers and low side winding drivers operably connected to first and second voltage sources comprises a current mirror circuit and a plurality of sense FETs each operably connected between one of the voltage sources and the gate of one of the winding driver transistors in each phase combination. The sense FETs are operably connected to one side of the current mirror circuit. The mirror circuit compares the current through the sense FET with a current threshold provided on the other side of the current mirror and produces an output signal when the threshold is reached. At the same time, the time to reach the threshold is measured and the phase combination having the longest time is stored. Also when the threshold is reached, the sequencer advances to the next phase combination for measurement until all phase combination have been sequenced. The motor is then started with the phase combination having the longest time measurement energized first.

摘要： Computer systems and techniques for predicting a cable failure in a network system begin by receiving a remote alarm indicator followed by a remote alarm indicator clear as a transmission alarm indicator of an intermittent short duration failure on the transmission path of a circuit. If the transmission alarm indicator is of a duration less than or equal to a preset threshold D it is considered an acceptable short hit transmission alarm. When at least N acceptable transmission alarms have been received and the time stamps of the last N acceptable transmission alarms have been recorded, then a determination is made as to whether N acceptable transmission alarms have been received within a preset time period. A moving window time period is calculated as the difference between the time stamp of the present acceptable transmission alarm K and the time stamp of the [(K−N)+1] acceptable transmission alarm. If the difference is less than or equal to T, a cable error signature is indicated. Based on the cable error signature, a cable failure may be predicted.
