摘要： Method of depositing an atomic layer on a substrate. The method comprises supplying a precursor gas from a precursor-gas supply of a deposition head that may be part of a rotatable drum. The precursor gas is provided from the precursor-gas supply towards the substrate. The method further comprises moving the precursor-gas supply by rotating the deposition head along the substrate which in its turn is moved along the rotating drum.

摘要： Apparatus for atomic layer deposition on a surface of a substrate includes a precursor injector head. The precursor injector head includes a precursor supply and a deposition space that in use is bounded by the precursor injector head and the substrate surface. The precursor injector head is arranged for injecting a precursor gas from the precursor supply into the deposition space for contacting the substrate surface. The apparatus is arranged for relative motion between the deposition space and the substrate in a plane of the substrate surface. The apparatus is provided with a confining structure arranged for confining the injected precursor gas to the deposition space adjacent to the substrate surface.

摘要： According to one aspect, the invention provides an optical sensor for measuring a force distribution, comprising a substrate; one or more light emitting sources and one or more detectors provided on the substrate, the detectors responsive to the light emitted by the sources; wherein a deformable opto-mechanical layer is provided on said substrate with light responsive properties depending on a deformation of the opto-mechanical layer.The design of the sensor and particularly the use of optical components in a deformable layer make it possible to measure the contact force accurately. The sensor is scalable and adaptable to complex shapes. In one embodiment also a direction of the contact force can be determined.

摘要： The invention is directed to the use of a specific class of compounds in the treatment of wood, to a method of treating wood, and to the wood obtained by said method.The black insoluble polymer which forms after oxidative polymerisation of this class of compounds is able to color the wood through and through in a homogeneous fashion and cannot be rinsed off or leached with water or solvent and is stable upon UV radiation.In addition it was found that the treated wood of the present invention has a strong resistance against wood degrading fungi.
