摘要： An apparatus and methods for producing at extremely high production speeds small pouches filled with tobacco or other granular, powdered or solid content. An endless web substrate, with or without flavor film thereon, is formed into a tubular shape with a longitudinal seam. The tube is cut to individual lengths, and a procession of tubes is crimp-closed at one end, filled and crimp-closed at the other end to complete pouch production. During production, the seams formed at the crimped ends of the pouch are parallel to one another and the longitudinal seam of the pouch is midway between the sides of the pouch and orthogonal to the seams formed at the crimped ends of the pouch.

摘要： In an automated machine that forms a vertically positioned and horizontally traversing web of plastic film into bags and fills the bags with material, the apparatus forms the bags sealed side edges as well as aligned perforations whereat the bags are severed from one another after they are filled with material. The web includes a pair of parallel proximate plastic film walls. A vertically positioned heat seal bar is moveable onto the web severing the walls along a separation line and forming the fore and aft sealed side edges of the bags. A perforation knife is aligned with and positioned vertically above the heat seal bar, and is simultaneously moveable onto the web walls with the heat seal bar thereby forming a vertical perforation line at a web longitudinal edge portion. The separation line and perforation line in the web are thereby aligned.

摘要： In a method for producing tubular bags, a forming shoulder for shaping a packaging material web into a tubular bag having a laterally offset longitudinal seam includes a shoulder part and a prism part connected to each other along a shaping edge. Half of the shaping edge facing the incoming packing material web lies in the first and second quadrants of the cross-section of the prism part and the seam is formed in the fourth quadrant. Curvature-free surface lines in the second and fourth quadrants originating from the shaping edge approach each other with increasing distance from the prism part, and the shaping edge angle measured between the surfaces of the shoulder part and the inner face of the prism part decreases from the second to the third quadrant and increases again from the third to the fourth quadrant.
