摘要： A remote manipulator of a tool has a body provided with a fixed jaw and a slide provided with a mobile jaw able to be displaced linearly, actuators located at a distance and coupled to the tool via a cable integral with a side of the slide and sliding inside a flexible sheath having one end integral with the body. The actuators have two arms each associated respectively to a handle and able to be separated angularly from each other by rotation about an axis by a value such that the distance between their free ends is at least equal to the maximum linear displacement of the slide bearing the mobile jaw, when the two handles are brought close to one another.

The rod (18) includes a gripping handle (26) at the second end (27) thereof. The aforementioned portion of the device forms an angle α with the rod (18) to which it is rigidly connected at an intermediary point, the direction of the band being altered at an angle, and the aforementioned adjustable locking means (34) includes manual screwing means (35) for actuating the movable part.

The appliance lift sits on the bottom of a cabinet, rolls forward and rotates forward and up using four rotating bars and a gear with spring and damper linking them together. This system consists of a platform dimensioned of a size and shape to support most kitchen counter-top appliances or any other like sized items. The platform is supported by a series of linkages housed in a frame. The frame is then on a moveable track. The entire structure is sized to fit inside the lower section of a standard kitchen cabinet.

In yet another embodiment, the outboard pin is secured between two side walls and the inboard pin is selectively removable from and seated on saddles in each of the walls whereby the inboard pin extends therebetween.
