    • A launcher which can be readily converted for use by either a right-handed or left-handed shot. The launcher has a receiver with upper and lower extensions extending forwardly from the receiver body. A barrel is pivotally mounted near forward portions of the extensions, in one of two positions, such that in one position it is pivotable from a home position aligned with the receiver and the extensions between the two extensions, to a load position with the breech of the barrel to the left, and such that in the other position it is pivotable from the home position, to a load position with the breech to the right. One way of accomplishing this is with a barrel support bracket to which the barrel is pivotally mounted, with the barrel support bracket being secured at or near the front of the receiver extensions, and being rotatable between two positions, each corresponding to a different swing direction for the barrel.

    • A firearm includes a receiver having an opening, at least one cartridge-containing cylinder rotatably disposed within the receiver, and a hammer displaceable between cocked and strike positions. Most preferably, at least one cylinder has chambers for receiving cartridges of a first size and another cylinder has chambers for receiving cartridges of a second, different size.

    • A firearm hammer has a hammer body with a hammer pivot axis for attachment to a firearm frame. A spur is connected to the hammer body, and the spur is movable among a number of positions with respect to the hammer body. The spur may be attached in a standard position in which it extends within the medial plane of the hammer body for use without a scope, or offset positions in which it angles away from the medial plane to provide accessibility. The offset angle may be 45 degrees, and a mating feature may provide the several attachment positions, each secure against movement except by deliberate removal of a fastener.

This motion moves the transfer bar notch away from the double action let-off pin to release the hammer when the trigger is pulled to a double action let-off position before the hammer reaches the cocked position.

    • A single loading enhancement device (sled) for a repeating firearm comprises a body where the external features of the body are in the form of an original firearm magazine. The body comprises a bottom end, a front surface, a rear surface, a pair of side surfaces and a top end. The top end of the body further comprises a pair of guide rails and a guide channel. The pair of guide rails is integrally formed into the top of the body and oriented approximately parallel to the body and extending from the front surface of the body toward the rear surface. The guide channel is defined by the guide rails and set into the top end of the body, the width and depth of the channel being slightly larger than the radius of a firearm cartridge and the guide channel is adjusted to prevent mechanical interference with the firearm's action and moving parts. The sled replaces the firearm's original magazine and enables the loading of a single cartridge and flawless functioning of the firearm without damaging the cartridge, irrespective of cartridge length.
