摘要： A multifunctional aromatic amine hardener composition including the reaction condensation product of (a) at least one aniline and (b) at least one non-aromatic cyclic dicarboxaldehyde; and a reactive thermosettable resin composition including (i) at least one multifunctional aromatic amine hardener composition curing agent, (ii) at least one thermoset resin, and optionally (c) at least one catalyst; and a process for preparing a thermoset product from the thermosettable composition. The hardener composition above and a thermoset resin may be used to prepare a thermoset product with improved thermo-mechanical behavior.

摘要： This invention relates to unsaturated polyester resin or vinyl ester resin compositions comprising a polymer containing reactive unsaturations as a resin; a 1,3-dioxo-component, and optionally a reactive diluent and/or an inhibitor and/or a stabilizer; the resin compositions being curable with a peroxide component, and wherein the resin in the resin composition has an acid value=10; and the resin composition contains—while being cured—a base, which is either selected from the group of organic or inorganic oxides, hydroxides, alkoxides or carboxylates for each of which the cation has a redox potential of the metal of at most −1V, or of ammonium ions; or is selected from the group of nitrogen-containing organic compounds. The present invention also relates to objects and structural parts prepared from such resin composition by curing with a peroxide. Finally the invention also relates to methods of peroxide curing of unsaturated polyester or vinyl ester curing and its use in chemical anchoring, roof coatings etc.

The alkyl amine is unreactive with respect to the isobutylene polymer. In favored embodiments, the alkyl amine adhesion promoting agent comprises an alkyl group having 6-24 carbon atoms. Further, the isobutylene polymer is a non-halogenated copolymer or homopolymer. Also described are adhesive articles a pressure sensitive adhesive, as described herein on a backing. The adhesive is particularly suitable for articles intended for use in a wet environment such as kitchen or bath articles.
