摘要： A pallet for supporting shirts for printing over the entire surface of the shirt, particularly including the sleeves. A shirt is telescoped over a thin upper panel whereafter separate sleeve panels mounted to the upper panel are slid outward into the sleeves of the shirt to provide support thereto. With the sleeve panels still maintained outward, the upper panel is then lowered down into abutment with the lower panel to secure the shirt between the upper and lower panels. Lowering of the upper panel with the sleeve panels mounted thereto causes the sleeve panels to be raised so that the pallet forms a generally planar overall surface upon which the shirt is supported and maintained in a stationary position during printing.

摘要： An apparatus for making multi-color silk screen prints on dimensionally unstable material such as T-shirts includes a platen, to which the shirt is adhesively affixed, that is removable from the remainder of the apparatus with a shirt attached to it without loss of registry between the shirt and silk screens carried by the apparatus when the platen is reinstalled on the apparatus. This permits moving the platen from one apparatus to another thereby printing more colors than would be possible with either apparatus alone. The apparatus also permits removing the shirt from the apparatus to perform a non-silk screen process between the printing of colors. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the removal of the platen is accomplished by dividing the platen into a bottom piece that is attached to the remainder of the apparatus and a top piece that is releasably attached to the bottom piece. Matching pins and holes in the platen pieces permit their separation and rejoinder without loss of registry, and also secure the two platen pieces immovably with respect to one another.

摘要： A screen printing apparatus is provided for transferring sheet materials from a supply area to a printing table. The apparatus has a pair of grippers which are guided jointly over the printing table in a timed manner in order to grip a blank sheet at a feeding table and pull it over the printing table. The two grippers are separately guided above the printing table in such a way that their movements take place in opposite directions to one another and that one of the gripper fails passes over the other one in the area of the center of the printing table. This design has the advantage that during the transport by a first gripper of a sheet to be printed on the printing table, a second gripper rail already returns to its starting position. Therefore, when the printed sheet is removed from the printing table, a new sheet can be placed thereupon immediately. Idle times for the conveying of the sheets to be printed are eliminated with the use of only two grippers.

摘要： An alignment apparatus is provided for a serigraphic printing machine to align the objects to be printed on with the printing panels assuring alignment of the different colors applied at the several printing stations. The objects to be printed on are carried by supports which have a centering plate thereon and are pivoted around a pin opposite the centering plate. Each printing station is provided with a centering pin in registration with the printing panel at each station. Each centering pin is engaged into a slot of the centering plate to align the support and the object with the printing panel when printing is to occur. All of the centering pins are fixed along a rotatable rod adjacent the printing stations which is rotated by a hydraulic piston to engage the centering pins into their respective centering plate slots.
