摘要： An electronics module for a transmission control unit may including one or more of the following: a printed circuit board populated with electronic components that are attached to an upper surface and/or a lower surface of the printed circuit board, and electrically connected thereto, and a media-tight protective layer, which covers one or more electronic components and connecting points between the one or more electronic components and the printed circuit board, where there is a cooling element for cooling the electronic components on one side of the printed circuit board, where the cooling element is connected to the printed circuit board and houses the electronic components that are to be cooled, and where the media-tight protective layer covers a transition region between the printed circuit board and the cooling element along the entire periphery of the cooling element.

The circuit carrier is surrounded with a casting mass in the casting space and embedded therein, and electrical connection elements of the circuit carrier are guided outwards out of the casting space.

The control unit has a line section for an engine or transmission fluid, a circuit carrier, and a base plate. The base body is mounted on the base plate. The circuit carrier is arranged between the base body and the base plate. The base body has a plurality of parallel channels each having a respective outlet. At least one of the plurality of parallel channels forms a portion of the line section. A separate cover is mounted on the base body, the cover having a single inlet coupled to the plurality of parallel channels. The cover is, other than only the inlet, connected to the base body in a fluid-tight manner, and the inlet is the only fluid passage through the cover.

The electrical component has an electrical connection element with a connection section running parallel to the component side and is electrically connected to the contact area. An adapter is arranged on the circuit board independently of the electrical component and has a holding body fastened to the circuit board outside the contact area and a metal web. The web is arranged on the holding body and has a contact section running parallel to the component side. The contact section and the connection section lie atop another and are welded to one another in a covering area. The web or the connection element makes electrical contact with the contact area by an electrically conductive material applied to the contact area.

摘要： A method bonds a first member to a second member. The method provides a first member having a bonding surface. A second member is molded from a metal material so as to have a surface constructed and arranged to be bonded to the bonding surface. The surface of the second member is laser trimmed to remove material and to remove byproducts, resulting from molding the second member, from the surface of the second member to thereby define a clean, laser trimmed surface of the second member. A sealant is provided between and in contact with the bonding surface and the clean, laser trimmed surface. The sealant is permitted to cure to thereby bond the first member to the second member.
