    • A rotor for motor may include a rotation shaft, a permanent magnet structured in a tube-like shape and fixed to an outer peripheral side of the rotation shaft, and a sleeve which is structured in a tube-like shape, disposed between an outer peripheral face of the rotation shaft and an inner peripheral face of the permanent magnet, and press-fitted and fixed to the outer peripheral face of the rotation shaft. The sleeve is retreated from an end part of the permanent magnet on one side in an axial direction to the other side in the axial direction so that a first ring-shaped recessed part is formed between the rotation shaft and the permanent magnet and the rotation shaft and the permanent magnet are fixed to each other with a first adhesive in the first ring-shaped recessed part. The rotor may be applied to a motor, preferably to a stepping motor.

    • The permanent magnet type rotary machine is capable of reducing cogging torque caused by variation of amounts of magnetic flux in magnetic circuits. The permanent magnet type rotary machine comprises: a stator constituted by stator units, which are coaxially stacked and in each of which a coil is sandwiched between stator yokes; and a rotor including a permanent magnet having magnetic poles, which respectively face magnetic pole teeth of the stator yokes, the rotor being rotatably supported by an output shaft. The stator units in one phase is divided into n (n is an integer one or more), and magnetic centers of at least one pair of the magnetic pole teeth of the adjacent stator yokes, which are vertically arranged, are shifted with a prescribed phase difference so as to mutually cancel their cogging torque.

    • A stepping motor includes a rotor assembly and a stator assembly including two stator units axially coupled to each other. The two stator units each include a pair of yokes which each include a base portion and a plurality of pole teeth extending from the base portion and which are disposed such that each of the pole teeth of one yoke and each of the pole teeth of the other yoke are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction. The pole teeth are shaped symmetric and each include a pair of slant sides inclined so as to become closer to each other with an increase of distance from the base portion, and the slant sides of adjacent pole teeth are located close to each other wherein a magnetic pole gap between the adjacent pole teeth pole teeth is about 0.2 times as large as the thickness of the pole teeth.

In a stepping motor in which a plurality of stators (20A, 20B) around which coils (21) are wound are placed in an axial direction of a motor shaft (31), a rotor (30) is rotatably provided with a space at inner periphery sides of these stators (20A, 20B), the motor shaft (31) is placed in a center of the rotor (30), and the rotor (30) includes a rotor body (33) placed at an outer periphery of the motor shaft and a cylindrical magnet (32) integrally provided on an outer periphery of the rotor body and magnetized to form multipoles in a circumferential direction, the stepping motor is characterized in that the cylindrical magnet (32) has at least its inner peripheral surface bulged inward in a diameter direction so that a portion corresponding to a central portion in the above described axial direction of each of the coils (21) becomes thicker than the other portions.
