摘要： This invention relates to electrical connection means. In particular, the invention is concerned with means for effecting electrical connection between two or more bodies in such a way that any small relative movement between the bodies when so connected will result in only small to negligible mechanical stresses being imposed on one or more of the bodies and/or on one or more component parts of the electrical connection means. Further, electrical connection means according to the invention are such that, in service, they do not suffer from at least one of the disadvantages associated with known, substantially stress-free, electrical connection means. In more detail an electrical connection means comprises an electrically conductive member or lug dipping into and making electrical contact with liquid conductive material contained in an electrically conductive reservoir, and means for at least reducing any tendency towards expulsion of the liquid conductive material from the electrically conductive reservoir.

摘要： An electronic rack includes a back panel, a number of server slots, and a number of server blades inserted therein. The back panel includes a heat removal liquid manifold to provide heat removal liquid from an external heat removal system to remove heat from the server blades. Each server blade includes a server tray to contain an information technology (IT) component and a self-fitting coupling assembly having a first liquid intake connector and a first liquid outlet connector to self-align with a second liquid intake connector and a second liquid outlet connector mounted on the liquid manifold mounted on the back panel. The first liquid intake connector and the first liquid outlet connector are capable of moving around within a predetermined tolerance space with respect to the server tray.

摘要： Embodiments of the invention provide methods for forming electrical connections using liquid metals. Electrical connections that employ liquid metals are useful for testing and validation of semiconductor devices. Electrical connections are formed between the probes of a testing interface and the electronic interface of a device under test through a liquid metal region. In embodiments of the invention, liquid metal interconnects are comprised of gallium or liquid metal alloys of gallium. The use of liquid metal contacts does not require a predetermined amount of force be applied in order to reliably make an electrical connection.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to an electrosurgical system. The electrosurgical system includes an electrosurgical generator configured to output electrosurgical energy and including a receptacle having at least one mechanical interface. The system also includes an electrosurgical instrument adapted to connect to the electrosurgical generator and configured to deliver energy to tissue. Further, a plug is provided to engage the receptacle to electrically couple the electrosurgical instrument to the electrosurgical generator. The plug includes a terminal electrically coupled to the electrosurgical instrument and a prong electrically coupled to the terminal that includes a recess defined therein and is configured to receive the at least one mechanical interface. When the plug is disengaged from the receptacle, the at least one mechanical interface cooperates with the recess to uncouple the prong from the terminal.
