A pixel element includes a self-luminous element and a drive transistor connected to a power supply line. In an emission period of the self-luminous element, an active voltage and an intermediate voltage are sequentially applied between the power supply line and a potential line with a pulse-shaped waveform such that a predetermined luminance duration is obtained in the emission period. In a non-emission period of the self-luminous element, an off-state voltage is applied between the power supply line and the potential line so as to maintain the self-luminous element in a non-emission state.

摘要： A method for driving the liquid crystal display comprises dividing a screen of the liquid crystal display into multiple displaying regions, and performing a divisional driving thereto, setting a backlight parameter corresponding to each the displaying region to a first backlight parameter during a first half of a time period of one frame, wherein the first backlight parameter is smaller than or equal to a maximum backlight parameter, setting the backlight parameter to a second backlight parameter during a second half of the time period, wherein the second parameter is smaller than a first threshold value, to have a default frame inserted during the second half of the time period of the one frame, and a difference between a gray level of the default frame and a gray level of a full black frame is within a predetermined range. The technical solution can improve blurred pictures.

The LED strings include at least one string of LED lamps, a positive terminal thereof and the power source are electrically connected. The buck circuit and the LED strings are electrically connected. The LED controller and the buck circuit are electrically connected. The LED controller controls the power source to provide electricity to the LED strings and controls the buck circuit to store energy during a first period. The LED controller controls the buck circuit to provide electricity to the LED strings during a second period. The disclosure further provides a liquid crystal display. The disclosure has the advantage of preventing the LED backlight driving circuit from being damaged easily.

摘要： Disclosed is a display device including: a display panel configured to display an image of a series of frames based on input image data; a light source configured to emit light to the display panel; a light source driver configured to supply a driving signal to the light source so that the light source can emit light; and a processor configured to detect a brightness change of a first frame of image data input to the display panel, make the light source driver supply a driving signal having a first frequency to the light source when the brightness change is lower than a predetermined boundary value, and make the light source driver supply a driving signal having a second frequency lower than the first frequency to the light source when the brightness change is higher than the boundary value. Thus, it is possible to decrease a flicker that occurs when the liquid crystal display device is driven with a PWM signal, i.e. an impulse signal for reducing a motion blur.
