The supply channel comprises a fluid line, an inflatable projection element having an opening and a pressure sensor which is configured for determining a pressure difference between an internal pressure in the projection element and an ambient pressure. The inflatable projection element is connected to the fluid line via the opening. The projection element is configured for being transferred from a compressed state to an inflated state by filling it with fluid from the fluid line. The projection element provides a predetermined projection surface in the inflated state.

The projectors project portions of a scene through openings in the enclosure and onto an inside surface of the enclosure. In some embodiments, light emanating from the projectors reflects from one or more mirrors before being cast onto the enclosure wall. The projectors and one or more mirrors may be mounted to a mounting frame that maintains the projectors and one or more mirrors in fixed spatial relationship, and the mounting frame may be mounted on a movable gantry for lifting the mounting frame to the upper portion of the enclosure. The enclosure may be a collapsible dome.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of assembling three-dimensional display apparatus, comprising the steps of: providing a support unit comprising a projector mounting and a screen mounting surface with a first aperture therethrough; providing a screen unit, the screen unit comprising a diaphragm and an inflatable screen affixed thereto, the diaphragm defining a second aperture in communication with the interior of the inflatable screen; bringing the screen mounting surface and the diaphragm into contact so as to align the first aperture with the second aperture; and securing the support unit to the screen unit to thereby create a seal between the support surface and the diaphragm around the first and second apertures, wherein the seal is sufficiently gas tight to enable inflation of the screen. Assembly of three-dimensional display apparatus, from two units, formed and arranged so as to enable a seal to be made around equipment extending to, or through the aperture in communication with the interior of the screen that is sufficiently gas tight to enable inflation of the screen, by the act of joining the two units together, therefore enables rapid and able assembly of the apparatus.

The inflatable support structure has at least two horizontal tubes and at least two vertical tubes that collectively form a rectangular frame. A skirt is coupled to one of the horizontal tubes and to both vertical tubes. An air inlet is also provided in the support structure, so that as air is received, it can fill the support structure tubes. A projection surface is disposed within the rectangular frame and is permanently coupled directly to one of the horizontal tubes, to both vertical tubes, and to the skirt. An internal tension mechanism is also included. The skirt may be part of the internal tension mechanism, which is configured to create fully internal tension to stretch the projection screen automatically, by inflation of the four inflatable tubes, and without using external or removable tension mechanisms.
