摘要： A laser rod surface elevation table (L-RSET) includes a sensor arm coupled to a stepper motor and a screw frame. A screw interconnects the motor and frame, while a screw carriage interconnects the screw and a sensor carriage. A laser sensor is mounted to the sensor carriage. A controller includes at least one processor operatively coupled to the sensor and motor. The processor processes measurement values in a data structure and performs functions to actuate the motor and sensor. The data structure represents a quasi-unique topographical measurement project, and is configured with the measurement values, including a radius value R which defines an area, a start point value X and a stop point value Y for positioning the screw carriage, a speed value S for speed of advancement of the screw carriage, an interval value I for measurement interval, and a points value N for points of measurement per measurement interval.

摘要： An automatic surface elevation table (Auto SET) for measuring ground surface movements and land surface subsidence. The Auto SET includes a free-floating foot resting on a sediment surface. A benchmark rod passes through a center of the free-floating foot, and is driven into the sediment surface and extends above the sediment surface. A water level recorder system is attached to the benchmark rod. The water level recorder system includes a water level recorder attached to a top of the benchmark rod, a double block pulley system having an upper end connected to the water level recorder and a lower end connected to the free-floating foot, and a counterweight attached to the upper end of the double block pulley system. The water level recorder system measures movement of the free-floating foot to determine ground surface movements.

摘要： An oil level display device is fitted such that a float guide accommodating a float is attached to an oil filler neck and is plugged with a float cap. To check the amount of oil, the float cap is removed and the position of the float is checked. If a sufficient amount of oil is stored, an upward force derived from oil buoyancy is larger than a downward force of the own weight of the float, from among the forces that act on the float. The float thus protrudes beyond a large-diameter portion upon removal of the float cap from the float guide.

摘要： A water level warning device for use in conjunction with a bathtub or a sink, for audibly warning a user when the water flowing into the bathtub or sink has reached a predetermined level. The warning device comprises a cylindrical tube containing a floating ball and having a plurality of circular openings extending fully therethrough for allowing water from the bathtub or sink to enter the tube. The top of the tube has a pressure-activated sensor and a speaker in communication with the sensor. The height of the tube may be telescopically adjusted by the user, thereby allowing the user to set the level of water required to activate the sensor. In use, the floating ball floats upon the upper surface of the water entering the tube, and activates the sensor when the level of water reaches the top of the tube. Upon selective activation of the sensor, the speaker emits an audible alarm.
