摘要： An automated banking machine includes a mechanism for accepting deposited items. Deposited items may be provided to the machine in envelopes which are first passed to a user from an envelope storage area (132) in the machine through a transport (124) and which are presented to the user through an opening (244). An envelope storage and dispensing device (134) is operative to assure that only a single envelope is delivered to the user. A user may thereafter include deposit items in the dispensed envelope. The deposited items are passed through the opening (244) and are deposited in a deposit-holding container (128). The deposited items may be marked with indicia corresponding to the transaction or properties of the deposited item where the envelope originally dispensed to the user for holding the deposited item.

摘要： An automated banking machine includes a mechanism for accepting deposited items. The automated banking machine includes a shaft and a roller mounted on the shaft. The roller includes a body having a cylindrical opening therethrough. One or more radially inward, axially outward extending deformable fingers adjacent a first end of the opening are adapted to engage an annular recess on the shaft. An annular flat surface adjacent the second end of the opening is adapted to abut a radially outward extending annular step surface on the shaft. The deformable fingers and the flat surface cooperate with the annular recess and the step surface, respectively, to axially position the roller on the shaft. A continuous belt member may be in operative engagement with the roller. A method includes extending the shaft into the cylindrical opening, and moving the shaft relative to the cylindrical opening to engage at least one deformable finger in the annular recess. The method also includes moving the shaft relative to the cylindrical opemng to engage the annular flat surface with the annular step surface.

The dispenser comprises a clutch for preventing excessive pressure between the stack and a coupon remover to minimize current drain on the power supply. A stack advancer enables advancement of the stack, as necessary, whenever a coupon is dispensed through engagement by the clutch to the coupon remover. A control circuit includes delay and shutdown functions to limit excessive coupon removal, and a dispenser level indicator to discourage tampering or theft. The dispenser is mountable to store shelving or other point of purchase displays.

A series of modular units are provided in which the band and the stack are mechanically separated, each sheet of the stack is conveyed independent of the band, each sheet is tested and directed to a target location dependent upon the results of the test. The transport of sheets having predetermined characteristics is coordinated with the transport of the band.

摘要： This apparatus removes individual sheets of paper or the like from a stack regardless of the thickness of each sheet. A sheet supply stack support is journaled in a housing in see-saw fashion. A first set of sheet separating rollers is arranged above the downstream end of the support as viewed in the direction of sheet movement. A spring urges the downstream end of the support upwardly and thus sheets on the support against the first set of rollers. A table is located substantially adjacent said downstream end and below a second set of sheet separating rollers. The table has a cut-out and a sheet separating gate slants through the cut-out below the second set of rollers. The gate is spring biased toward the second set of rollers. Two sheet guides are arranged upstream and downstream, for example, of a platen. The supply stack is arranged upstream of the first sheet guide. The sheet receiving stack is arranged downstream of the second sheet guide and substantially above the sheet supply stack. Both stacks are arranged in relatively flat positions to the horizontal.

摘要： In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a sheet transport device is described. The sheet transport device includes a pickup roller to insert a sheet into a sheet path. A pair of separation rollers of the sheet transportation device form a nip that advances the sheet along the sheet path. A first separation shaft on which a first separation roller is disposed rotates in a first direction as the sheet is advanced and a second separation shaft on which a second separation roller is disposed also rotates in the first direction as the sheet is advanced. The second separation roller is driven in a second direction via a torque limiter. A motor rotates the shafts. A one-way clutch is disposed on the second separation shaft to disengage the second separation shaft from the motor when the motor is operating in a reverse mode.
