    • An adjustable tool handle for holding a tool during use provides an improved handling of tools during use of tools that are difficult to use on their own, specifically L-shaped hexagonal wrenches. The adjustable tool handle includes a tool handle body with a handle and an adjustable opening for receiving a tool. In order to place a tool within the tool handle, a user opens the tool handle. When the tool handle is open, one leg of the tool handle is inserted into one of a plurality of openings on the back of the body and the other leg is placed within the adjustable opening. After the tool is placed within the tool handle, the tool is held in place by a securing mechanism. With the tool coupled to the tool handle, a user is able to tighten and loosen work pieces of different sizes and different types.

    • Radially spaced blades extending into grooves in the faces of a socket for socket wrenches. Each blade has a curved face facing a bolt head inserted into the socket and an opposite curved face against respective grooves in the bolt face. The blades engaging a hex-head of a bolt inserted into the socket. Applying torque to the socket against resistance from the bolt, urges the blades against their respective groove to secure the bolt head in the socket. The shaft of an Allen wrench is secured in the socket so that its head does not interfere with the head of a hex bolt inserted into the socket. When the Allen wrench is released from its recessed position, the Allen wrench can move upward toward the socket's open end where it can engage an Allen bolt head.

    • Improved techniques for avoiding and remediating connector-related stripping and other material damage are provided. In some aspects, specialized drive heads and systems are provided in conjunction with sensors for detecting proper distance characteristics and contact orientations (a.k.a., “seating”) with connectors, which, upon sensing improper seating, reduce, reverse-pulse or otherwise alter or remove power. The specialized driver heads may include reverse-grip members that pull the driver-head into the seated position. In other aspects, multiple-section connector sets are included, which may be self-tightening, and create detectable conditions of potential tightening energy being expended and/or loosening occurring, allowing an external sensor to sense such a condition and identify a connector that has loosened, slipped, or may be in need of recharging or tightening. A specialized connector head may selectively break away before stripping and thereby expose a stronger, secondary driver head. Associated driver refinements are also provided, which may further avoid damage.
