    • A drywall mud texture sprayer. A pressurized air canister and a drywall mud canister are connected to a backpack that a user wears on his back. The user holds a spray gun in his hands. Pressurized air from the pressurized air canister provides pressure to both the spray gun and the drywall mud canister enabling the spray gun to spray the drywall mud. In a preferred embodiment, the drywall mud canister is a 1.0 gallon canister and the pressurized air canister is a null gallon, 5000 psi CO2 tank. The equipment (including the backpack, CO2 and drywall mud) all together weighs about 25 pounds so it can easily be carried by the average worker.

    • The fan propelled misting apparatus for cooling an extended area by evaporative cooling includes a blower with a hollow, cylindrical mist discharge tube, and a fan for propelling air flow through the mist discharge tube; and a misting device connected to the blower for delivering a fine spray of water to the cylindrical mist discharge tube. The misting device includes a pressurizable fluid tank, such as a piston type pump, with a water supply tube connected between the pressurizable fluid tank and the mist discharge tube for delivering the fine spray of water to the cylindrical mist discharge tube. The water supply tube has a nozzle at a distal end of the water supply tube disposed in the mist discharge tube so as to deliver the fine spray of water in the air flow provided by the blower. A valve is provided for controlling flow of water through the water supply tube. The fan propelled misting apparatus may alternatively include a waist pack adapted to be secured to a user's waist, with a fan disposed in the waist pack, and a misting device in the waist pack for delivering a fine spray of water near the fan. The fan is battery powered, and the fan housing is bell shaped to provide higher air flows.

    • A low cost stereo dispensing container (e.g. a disposable caulking cartridge) from which two part fluid products may be simultaneously dispensed in predetermined proportions relative to one another. A first material (e.g. a catalyst) is stored within a flexible blister. The blister may be adhesively affixed to a side of the container. In the alternative, the blister may be extruded or injection molded along a side of the container during manufacture. The second material (e.g. a resin) is stored within a holding chamber formed in the container alongside the blister. A plunger is moved through the container to ride over and compress the blister and thereby cause the first material to be expulsed therefrom into a spout of the container. At the same time, the volume of the holding chamber is reduced to thereby cause the second material to be simultaneously expulsed therefrom into the spout.

    • An assembly is provided for the controlled delivery of a two-component adhesive material that is moisture-labile, having a power supply powering a two-chambered pump for the metered delivery of the adhesive and a delivery gun for mixing the two-components at the point of delivery. In order to enable exposure to ambient, moisture-laden air while using large drums of adhesive material, at least one dual-apertured, desiccant cannister is provided sealably interfaced at an intake port on each of the drums A second aperture is provided on the desiccant cannister which is open to such ambient air. The second aperture is of a diameter sufficient to provide the influx of a necessary volume of air through the cannister(s) to accommodate the synchronized delivery of the two-component adhesive through the delivery gun. The desiccant is preferably calcium sulfate. Cobalt chloride is added to show a color change when the desiccant is saturated to enable recharge and/or replacement. The diameter of the aperture is between 0.325 and 0.4 inches, and preferably 0.37 inches to enable uniform flow through the gun.18

    • This invention is related to a portable texture-spraying apparatus for uniformly dispersing a viscous material. This apparatus broadly includes a tank assembly having a body with an inner wall that defines a sealed cavity, and a piston assembly slidably disposed within the sealed cavity. The piston assembly divides the sealed cavity into an air-side chamber and a material-side chamber by providing an airtight seal therebetween. Additionally an air-control assembly is provided that broadly includes a pressure-control mechanism configured for receiving compressed air and routing a controlled pneumatic pressure to a directional valve configured for adjusting between a dispensing mode and a loading mode. In dispensing mode, the directional valve routes the controlled pneumatic pressure to the air-side chamber biasing the piston assembly toward the material-side chamber. In loading mode, the directional valve releases the air-side chamber to the atmosphere allowing for filling the material-side chamber with viscous material.
