摘要： This invention relates to lysine isotopologues of Formulas I and 1-A, as described herein, and processes for synthesizing the same and derivatives and intermediates involved therein. In one aspect, described herein is a chemical compound comprising an isotopically labeled analog, i.e., an isotopologue of a standard or naturally occurring lysine. The lysine isotopologue is synthetically formed to have stable isotopes of elements incorporated at selected positions. As such, the lysine isotopologue has a molecular mass different from the mass of a standard or naturally occurring lysine.

The skin sensitivity improving agent includes, as the active ingredient, a basic protein fraction derived from milk or a degraded basic protein fraction derived from milk. By orally taking the basic protein fraction derived from milk or the degraded basic protein fraction derived from milk or applying the same directly to the skin, deterioration in sensation, in particular, peripheral sensation can be improved. Thus, a food, a drink, a feed or a cosmetic for improving sensation can be obtained.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for the non-therapeutic treatment of animals selected from the group consisting of poultry, pigs and fish. The treatment comprises orally administering at least one β-alanine compound to the animals in an amount of between 2 and 55 mmol/kg dry weight of said feed for the treatment of poultry and fish and between 2 and 25 mmol/kg dry weight of said feed for the treatment of pigs. These amounts of the β-alanine compound are used for reducing the conversion ratio or for in creasing the bodyweight gain of the animals. The β-alanine compound is in particular β-alanine. In prior art methods higher amounts were used resulting also in a reduction of the feed conversion ratio but this to the detriment of the bodyweight gain.
