摘要： The means for feeding a tag pin assembly in this tag attacher consists of a cam plate which can be moved up and down along a guide bore in which the tag pin assembly is inserted, a locking member pivotably provided on the cam plate, and a spring provided between the locking member and the tag attacher body. The locking member has locks adapted to come into contact with the opposite surfaces of a connecting bar in the tag pin assembly so as to apply force thereto for moving the same. When the cam plate is moved upward against the force of the spring during a tag pin-driving operation, opposite surfaces of the connecting bar are pressed and held by the locking member oscillatably provided on the cam plate. When the lever provided on the tag attacher body is released from the gripping force applied thereto, the cam plate is lowered by the resilient force of the spring to feed a tag pin in the tag pin assembly to a driving position in a rear portion of a side-slitted needle.

The clips can be disengaged in pairs from the rack, the mounting arrangement of the clips on the rack being such that entanglement of the cords does not occur either in storage or during removal of the clips. The rack has bars which sit within slots in the clips so as to prevent rotation of the clips while held in the rack. In a preferred arrangement, each rack holds two rows of clips, the clips lying against each other so as to provide additional stability to the assembly.

摘要： In a machine for twist tying a bundle of product, the tie ribbon is fed, for looping about the product to a twist head, by a feed roller. The leading end of the tie ribbon is then clamped to the twist head by a first gripper and, rearward of the feed roller, by a staking clamp and the feed roller is allowed to free wheel. The tie ribbon in the path between the feed roller and the staking clamp is then displaced laterally out of the path. The tension in the tie ribbon around the bundle is controlled by regulating the force applied in displacing the tie ribbon. While the tie ribbon is being tightened on the bundle, tie ribbon needed for looping about the next bundle is placed in an accumulator.

The feeding mechanism includes a friction wheel rotatably supported on the device adjacent the guide groove for the fastener assembly and abutting against the connection necks of the fasteners. A support plate is mounted coaxially with the friction wheel and is adapted to pivot when the operation lever of the device is pivoted. A wheel driving member is pivotably supported on the support plate and includes a projecting portion which selectively engages the friction wheel with the projecting portion engaging and rotating the friction wheel when the operation lever is pivoted to cause the friction wheel to move the fastener assembly so that the next fastener is moved to a prescribed discharge position to be pushed through the hollow needle of the dispensing device.

With this tag attacher, it is possible to successively drive tag pins into merchandise if the tag pin assemblies used have different inter-pin pitches. Furthermore, since the connecting bar that has been removed of tag pins and fed out of the tag attacher has notches, it can easily be torn off by hand.
