    • A data processing apparatus may include: a data conversion unit configured to designate one-transfer data as one transfer unit and designate a predetermined number of transfer units as one conversion unit when a plurality of input data sequentially input is converted into transfer data of which the number of bits is the same as that of a data bus having a predetermined number of bits, and the transfer data is sequentially transferred, and arrange the input data in the transfer data within the conversion unit. The data conversion unit may include: a data generation unit, a first data arrangement change unit, and a first data selection unit configured to sequentially select the changed data in which the position of the input data is changed by the first data arrangement change unit and output the selected changed data as the transfer data in the data conversion unit.

    • A focusing device includes a distance information acquisition section acquiring information on a distance to a subject based on a plurality of image data acquired by taking images of the subject at a plurality of different viewpoint positions. A subject detection section detects a first area and a second area based on the distance information and threshold information for the distance range within which a subject of interest that obstructs a main subject in the subject is present. In the first area, the subject of interest is present in each of the plurality of image data. In the second area, the subject of interest is not present. A focusing estimation section estimates the focusing of the main subject based on the distance information on the second area in each of the plurality of image data.

    • A small-sized value medium processing device discriminates the genuine/false status of coins, and reads or write processes an electric information recording medium. The value medium processing device allows a coin slotted into a slot to roll along a coin path for discriminating the coin genuine/false status wherein the coin in the coin path can be cancelled by a canceling device. Slots for a coin and for an electric value recording medium are at least partly common with each other. A detecting device for the electric value recording medium is provided in the electric value medium slot. A deactivating device deactivates the canceling device based on detection by the detecting device.

    • A track rail is formed in a channel-like configuration while having a guide passage for sliders. A table structure that moves within the guide passage includes: a pair of sliders that move forwards and backwards within the guide passage; and a connecting top board connecting those sliders to each other with a predetermined interval therebetween and provided with a mounting surface for a movable member. An armature constituting a linear motor is received between the pair of sliders, and field magnets constituting the linear motor are arranged in the track rail so as to face the guide passage. The armature and the field magnets, which constitute the linear motor, are completely integrated with the table structure and the track rail, which constitute a linear guide, and are entirely contained inside the linear guide.
