The first and second guide members move along the first and second grooves, respectively, and engage with the cartridge so as to leave a gap narrower than a gap between the walls when the cartridge is inserted but to leave a gap broader than the gap between the walls when the drive gets loaded with the cartridge, thereby opening a window in the cartridge so as to allow the head to access the disk and allow the disk motor to mount the disk.
