    • The present invention provides an apparatus for displaying lens contour, an apparatus for processing lens contour data, and apparatus for grinding edge of eyeglass lens with the same so that these apparatuses can grasp contours of the eyeglass frame and the eyeglass lens related to three dimensional virtual display (3D V-shaped simulation), and a V-shaped figure formed in an edge surface of lens in three dimensions to represent visually assembling of the virtual frame. These apparatuses comprises, an input means 1 of lens rim contour data for inputting left/right lens rim contour data of an eyeglass frame MF in three dimensions; a calculating/determining circuit 91 for calculating, based on the inputted lens rim contour data, an angle of inclination of lens rim contour of either left or right eye of the eyeglass frame to lens rim of the other eye; and a liquid crystal display panel 62 for displaying a type of inclination of left/right lens rims of the eyeglass frame, based on the calculated results, as side view from upper or lower side of the eyeglass frame.

    • A laminated inductor used for micro-miniaturized high frequency circuit includes insulating layers and conductive patterns alternately superimposed with each other, and the end of each conductive pattern is connected with each other to form a coil 3 in a laminated form. The starting end and terminal end of the coil 3 are connected with terminal electrodes 4, 5 at the opposed ends of the chip. The terminal electrodes 4, 5 are formed on, exception the side surface of the chip, the end surface and the lower surface of the chip or otherwise the end surface and upper and lower surfaces of the chip. This structure can minimize an adjacent portion between the coil 3 and the terminal electrodes 4, 5 so that a stray capacitance can be reduced. Thus, a high resonant frequency can be obtained for high frequency applications.

    • The present invention provides a process for producing biologically active recombinant yeast protein disulfide isomerase, which includes the steps of: a) deleting, substituting, or adding one or more bases in a region encoding an endoplasmic reticulum retention signal in a gene encoding protein disulfide isomerase of yeast to modify the gene so as not to encode part or all of the endoplasmic reticulum retention signal; b) incorporating the modified gene into an expression vector; c) transforming host cells with the expression vector; and d) culturing the host cells transformed with the expression vector in a culture medium kept at a nearly neutral pH, thereby causing protein disulfide isomerase to be secreted in an active state outside the host cells. According to the process of the invention, recombinant yeast protein disulfide isomerase can be secreted in a large amount in a biologically active state into a culture medium, and can be collected by a simple purification method.

    • An adaptor system includes a plastic syringe which is pre-filled with a liquid medicament, and a plastic flange adaptor which can be attached to the syringe. The medicament-prefilled syringe is provided with a cylindrical body having a small diameter cylindrical body to which a liquid medicament information label is adhered and a large diameter cylindrical body, and an end flange.
