The electronic device includes a memory configured for storing menu information defining one or more menus, and a predetermined time duration, a touch screen display configured for detecting a touch of a user, a timer configured for tracking an elapsed time of the electronic device since the last update of the positions of the menu icons on the display, and an processor configured for executing a function corresponding to the content of a menu whose menu icon is touched, and further configured for updating the position information of the menus stored in the memory as well as shifting the display positions of menu icons of the menus on the touch screen display when the elapsed time has reached the predetermined time duration.

    • An electronic device includes a storage unit, a touch screen, and a processor. The storage unit stores a relationship table recording a mapping relationship between touch inputs and a number of commands. The touch screen includes a command input region for generating signals in response to user's handwritten touch input. The size of the command input region is smaller than the size of the touch screen. The processor includes an image processing module, an identification module, and a control module. The image processing module creates an image of touch input according to the generated signals. The identification module identifies the touch input of the user according to the generated signals, and retrieves a command associated with the touch input. The control module controls displaying the created image of the touch input on the command input region, and controls the electronic device to execute the retrieved command.
