    • The invention concerns a breathing mask arrangement for feeding a respiratory gas to a patient. The invention further concerns a forehead support device for same. The breathing mask arrangement according to the invention includes an arch body, a sealing lip means for bearing against the surface of the face of a mask user, a respiratory gas conduit means for feeding respiratory gas to a mask internal space which is defined by the arch body and which is in communication with the nose and/or mouth opening of the user of the mask. The breathing mask arrangement according to the invention is distinguished by an application structure for application of the sealing lip means jointly with the arch body, wherein the application structure has a carrier portion on which a respiratory gas conduit member in the form of a docking port is releasably mounted. The forehead support device according to the invention includes a contact element provided in the application position of the breathing mask for bearing against the forehead region of a user of the mask, and a holding device for holding the contact element in tiltably movable manner. By virtue thereof, even when using a contact element of comparatively large area, that provides for good adaptability to the most widely varying facial architectures.

    • A breathing mask device, a sealing lip device for a breathing mask device, a molding tool and a method for producing a corresponding breathing mask device and sealing lip device are described. An aspect of the invention is to provide ways that make it possible to create a breathing mask device that, with sufficiently strong tightness is distinguished by particular wearing comfort and which moreover can be produced advantageously in times of industrial production standpoints. According to an embodiment, a breathing mask device for administering a breathable gas is provided and includes a body structure that is sealed against a contact surface of a user's face, a sealing lip device that in combination with the body structure in part defines a breathing mask interior, a gel structure for at least intermittent and partial transmission of the retention forces, acting on the body structure, to the user's face area, and a gel material defining the gel structure is received in a gel receiving chamber defined at least in part by an elastically deformable receiving wall. The elastomer material intended for forming the receiving wall is integrally formed onto a wall portion of the breathing mask device, and is lifted or separated from this wall portion to form the gel receiving chamber.

    • The present application is directed to a detector to detect or generate measuring signals that are indicative of the respiration of a person, wherein said detector can be used advantageously in view of hygiene and stands out due to a simple and robust configuration. According to a first aspect, the detector detects a signal that is indicative of the activity of the respiratory muscles of a person to be examined, the detector comprising a band which, in the application position, is passed around a torso region which widens and narrows when the person to be examined breathes, as well as a structure that is included in the band and loaded in accordance with the narrowing or widening of the torso region. The structure is configured such that it causes a change in the volume of a measuring space device depending on a tensile force. It is thus advantageously possible to detect or measure the forces acting on the band in a non-electric manner and, on the basis of this detection or measurement, draw conclusions relating to the widening or narrowing of the torso.
