    • The present invention relates to a method for generating a downlink frame includes: generating a first short sequence and a second short sequence indicating cell group information; generating a first scrambling sequence determined by a first synchronization signal; generating a second scrambling sequence determined by a first short sequence and a third scrambling sequence determined by a second short sequence; scrambling the first short sequence with the first scrambling sequence; scrambling the second short sequence with at least the second scrambling sequence; scrambling the second short sequence with the first scrambling sequence; scrambling the first short sequence with at least the third scrambling sequence; and mapping one second synchronization signal including the first short sequence scrambled with the first scrambling sequence and the second short sequence scrambled with at least the second scrambling sequence and another second synchronization signal including the second short sequence scrambled with the first scrambling sequence and the first short sequence scrambled with at least the third scrambling sequence in the frequency domain.

    • Provided is a wireless multi-carrier code division multiplexing communication apparatus that may transmit data using a transmit diversity scheme. A transmission apparatus may include: a space-time coding unit to perform space-time encoding of transmission data to generate a plurality of data streams; a radio resource code generation unit to generate a radio resource code vector by referring to radio resource allocation information associated with a reception apparatus; a signal generation unit to generate a plurality of code division multiplexing signals corresponding to a plurality of transmit antennas, respectively, by multiplying the radio resource code vector and the plurality of data streams; and a transmission unit to transmit the plurality of code division multiplexing signals to the reception apparatus via the plurality of transmit antennas. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively transmit data using a transmit diversity scheme in a wireless multi-carrier code division multiplexing communication system.

    • A channel encoding/decoding method and a multiple-antenna wireless communication transmitting/receiving system performing the same are disclosed. A transmitter of the multiple-antenna wireless communication system comprises a space-time encoder, interleavers, a P/S converter, a RSC encoder, a S/P converter, and a modulator. A receiver of the multiple-antenna wireless communication system comprises a RSC decoder, deinterleavers, a space-time decoder, and interleavers. The frame error rates from the information transmission and reception by the present invention are found to be significantly lower than those by the multiple encoding/separated decoding method. Compared with the multiple encoding/joint decoding method, the present invention maintains comparable or better performance, while simplifying the decoding procedure considerably thereby it reduces the complexity in the hardware implementation.
